„The house was secluded and quiet. It was clean and well maintained. We loved having the pool on the very hot days.“

„This is a breath taking property. There was plenty of room for our 7 adults and 2 kids and the direct access to the river was by far the best part of our stay. My only constructive criticism would be focusing on the cleanliness of the hot tub and that not all of the tubes, kayaks and paddles were usable, but we made do. Overall, this lovely place and would recommend!“

„The river view was beautiful, but easier access would have been better. It is a lot steeper than pictures show. The fire pit area was nice, but loose gravel made it very slippery if you got too close to the edge of slope. Overall, this house is perfect for families. The bedrooms are spacious and each has a private bathroom. Six adults and four kids had plenty of room. TVs are in each room, as well. The screened in porch is very large with a dining area and TV area with couches.Would ...

„The property is in a quiet cul-de-sac with high vaulted ceilings and windows overlooking tall trees, creating a peaceful atmosphere. I stayed in July during a heat wave, but the AC worked well. For those traveling with infants, the property offers a crib, high chair, and toys, making it easier to pack light. The comfortable patio provides a lovely mountain view, although we couldn't use it much due to the weather. The spacious and clean bedrooms add to the comfort. It’s also conveniently located ...

„Amazing property. Matches pictures. Host is responsive. Thank you for sharing your property. We would stay here again!“

„Very nice home. Great view. Great location close to everything. Great host. We are already planning a return during the winter for even a better view. Thank you Alex for sharing your home with us.“

„No River Access, no way to use kayaks, no king bed. First the property is very nice and clean. Had all the tools and supplies we would need. Problem was there was a king bed listed. There was only the queen and bunk beds. I am 6'6" so this was a selling point over other houses. Also there was no River Access to use the kayaks or go fishing. I was told to go on another property to get there, nope. They also spring on me after I booked it was 150 to rent the kayaks, very expensive. Also note that ...

„We absolutely loved staying here. The Hobbit House is so cool! It's full of Hobbit and Lord of the Rings-themed decorations. The whole thing is very whimsical, especially the canopy bed. The hot tub was nice even in summer. Lots of wildlife around too. The property was fun to explore with our dog. Riverbank Farms is down the road so we picked up some sausages and they were the best we've ever had. We chose this area for our vacation because it's so close to Shenandoah National Park. We had a ...

„We really enjoyed our stay. The townhome was very clean, comfortable, and well prepared for guests. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful essentials and little touches provided for travelers — they made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, especially for anyone visiting Luray Caverns and exploring the Shenandoah area. It was very convenient and worked perfectly for our visit. Aline and Bart were wonderful hosts and communicated clearly and promptly ...

„Very beautiful and relaxing trip! Only suggestion I would have would be to add protection on the spiral staircase. Hitting your head on the edge isn’t fun. Very responsive host and very beautiful location“

„Great little place tucked away from people. Everything was clean and organized. Easy to follow instructions.“
