Park Hotel Silemi

"The Park Hotel Silemi is a nice little hotel right on the beach with only 48 rooms. Everywhere it is very clean and the staff is very friendly and nice. We had an oceanview room with a big balcony, which I highly recommend. You can sleep with the sound of the waves even if the balcony door is closed. The room is quite big with lots of storage room. The bathroom is also a good size. The shower is on the small side as there are special shower nozzles in one corner along the wall which take up about 1/3 of the shower. All the furniture in the hotel is a little older but still in good shape, but we think it gave it its special charm and it didn't bother us at all. The breakfast was outstanding! Everything you can ask for(Toast, bread, buns, croissants, cereal, homemade cake, eggs, cold cuts, cheese etc) except the coffee. Italy is famous for its coffee from portafilter machines and so getting coffee from a fully automatic coffee machine in the morning was a little disapointing. The pool is quite big and was very warm in September. Many of the beach chairs along the pool were damaged / broken, so they should be replaced. What we found a little strange are the opening hours of the pool: 9 am until 6:30 pm. It is really a shame that the pool closes that ealy as it would be nice to go for a swim after a day of exploring. The beach is very narrow and rocky, but with water shoes no problem. The ocean was also very warm. We would return anytime and can highly recommend this hotel"

"Je recommande cet hôtel. Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique à l'écoute et toujours prêt à vous conseiller. Certains parlaient français ce qui est très appréciable. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très varié et très bon. Le buffet du soir est également très varié avec des produits différents chaque soir, tout est vraiment très bon. La chambre est propre, il y a juste la douche qui pourrait être refaite car elle est un peu vieillotte et également le sèche-cheveux qui ne sèche pas vraiment. La vue est splendide malgré un bâtiment qui est en rénovation sur la gauche de l'hôtel. Il y a des places de parcs et une salle de fitness, ce qui est très appréciables. Les serviettes sont données chaque jour à la piscine. J'espère que l'accès à la plage sera refait car il est un peu laisser à l'abandon mais très pratique lorsqu'on a pas envie de payer la navette. Une petite plage privée appartenant à l'hôtel serait vraiment un plus. L'hôtel est un peu éloigné il est préférable d'avoir une voiture mais sinon il y a un arrêt de bus juste en bas de l'hôtel. L'hôtel est vraiment calme et est idéal pour se reposer. Je tiens encore une fois à souligner la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel qui m'ont vraiment ravie. Nous y reviendront avec grand plaisir. Je le recommande."
