„Um 17:00 war der Zugang zur Rezeption geschlossen, man musste das Check-In bei einem kleinen Fenster ausserhalb des Gebäudes machen. Das Deposit war $ 100 und wurde erst nach 8 Tagen wieder gutgeschrieben. Der angebotene Kaffee am morgen war nicht vor 09:00 verfügbar, was für uns zu spät war. Es hatte ein paar "spezielle Gäste" in diesem Hotel. Für eine Übernachtung war es gerade noch okay.“

„Two families with kids stayed here for a long weekend - wonderful house with everything we needed, plus a beautiful pond and fire pit outside. Easy drive to Crisfield to catch the ferry to Smith Island, plus kayaking in Janes Island State Park. Great getaway spot in a quiet part of the eastern shore. Host was super-responsive!“

„Smith Island was on our bucket list of visits, and for spring break we finally went. Castaway Cottage is great!!!! It is the perfect place to stay, and Smith Island is a great way to get away from work and school and the buzz of life on the mainland, which was our whole point of the trip. We totally recommend this house, it is adorable, it has everything you need, and we took our dog and it is SOOOO pet friendly! Oh my gosh, we didn't want to leave! „This was exactly what I was looking for. The Property is very private and the yard surrounding the house was huge. I found it comfortable and cozy. Randy was very accommodating and asked that you respected his property and clean up after yourself and your pets which is to be expected were I come from, a small ask. He had plenty to offer.
