We went in late December 2025 - early January 2026 during a cold wave. There was no snow unfortunately, but boy it was cold. However, the heating system worked fine. There are a few past reviews claiming heating system does work properly. That was not the case for us.Also, there is a past review claiming noise from RVs nearby. Absolutely not the case. The ...

„We had a great stay. Beautiful views. It is quite a trek into the neighborhood to get here, so we pretty much stayed put for our short stay. If you are like us and don't feel like driving the mountain roads much try taking a walk up the road, pass through the emergency gate and take a left, there is a perfect hiking trail. “

„Such a cute cabin! It is very remote and quiet, which is what we were looking for. It’s a great place to be one with nature and still have a comfy bed at night. Would definitely go back. “

„the road to approach is dirt/gravel so be aware. cute little cosy cabin. the outdoor fireplace is the best. everything was super clean and comfy. best stocked kitchen in a while. indoor gas fireplace did not work but host gave a small reimbursement so that was ok. linens were nice and everything was provided. not really a quiet place as there was a local barking dog and a bulldozer and a close neighbor, but, we enjoyed ourselves. “

„All decked out was very clean, and accommodated our large group quite nicely. The weather was quite chilly, so we really enjoyed the hot tub each evening. The highlight was definitely the deer. There were so many of them, and they were so tame the eight right out of our hands! We would love to go back!“

Short driving range from downtown Ellijay, and Blue Ridge, and Amicalola Water Falls. Plenty to do for adventure and perfect serenity at this lodging. Thank you!“
