You know you had a good time when you are already looking forward to a return visit. There was so much to love about our visit to Sunset Peak. For starters, when my wife and I first walked through the door, the smell of fresh pine captivated our senses. We literally stood in the hallway and closed our eyes for a few minutes to take it all in. After our brief moment of serenity, we slowly walked towards the living room / kitchen area of the cabin and was blown away by the majestic beauty of the mountain ridge that was right before our eyes. I know the saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words" but in this cause, the pictures on the website don't give Sunset Peak justice. The views from the back porch and from the hot tub is spectacular. Chip and Carmie, you guys need to do a master class on how to host. Your attention to detail and southern hospitality really made our 20th anniversary trip memorable. Thank You for being so personable. Your calls, text and Ellijay area recommendations were welcoming. If peace, quiet and seclusion is what you are seeking ... LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS IT! Sunset Peak has every amenity you need and more for the perfect getaway. Peace. Quiet. Clean Cabin. Had a Great Stay with 2 of our Grands. Seems the highlight of the Stay was the time there and being able to spend time in the Hot Tub. Great Value and Chip was very helpful even with suggestions on where to spend time while in Ellijay and Blue Ridge.

My wife, dog, and I had a great 3-night stay. The cabin was clean and very nicely appointed. The view is fantastic. It rained 2 of the days, and we just hunkered down under the covered deck, listened to music, and read. It was bliss. If we had a question, Chip immediately responded. We’d definitely stay there again.

We had the best time at Sunset Peak! The cabin was clean, views were amazing, hot tub was perfect, it was just an overall great trip. The only thing I will say is to make sure you follow the host’s directions for driving to the cabin, otherwise you'll get lost. Host was very nice and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend and will likely be returning!

Chip the host was awesome. Great suggestion on where to eat to activates to do. The cabin was amazing. The views were incredible. The pictures do not do it justice. Cozy, quiet and amazing views. Super clean. Didn’t use hot tub or fireplace but appeared as it should with plenty of wood. Cooked several times and had everything needed. Owners were great and made sure we had everything needed. Very responsive through the whole process. If you have a choice between car or truck- bring your truck. Will be back next fall.

Wow! The pics don’t even begin to describe how peaceful and stunning the views are! It was a wonderful stay. We had amazing weather, amazing sunsets and full moon stargazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Peak! The hot tub during the sunsets was perfect. The balcony/deck was the perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee and dinners al fresco. The bedrooms are outfitted with room-darkening shades which were immensely appreciated. The communications between the host were so attentive and quick to respond. Don’t pass on this cabin! Side note: if you forget your book, they have a great cache of must-reads! Thanks, Chip and Carmie!

Perfect place with the BEST view - exactly like pictures. We were nervous about the drive, but we were able to make it in our Honda Pilot. The house was clean, and it had plenty of towels and things we could need. We loved our stay, and we can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute, cozy cabin in the Ellijay mountains! The cabin was spotless and had such a warm, inviting feel — the perfect place to relax and unwind. The host, Chip, was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. When we had an issue with the hot tub before our stay, he personally came out to fix it and even gave us a tour of his beautiful property next door!It’s about a 30-minute drive to groceries and other stores, but that added to the peaceful, secluded charm — exactly what we wanted for our anniversary getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Peak. Chip & Carmie were fantastic hosts, they were very communicative, gave great recommendations, and made our stay super easy! We enjoyed relaxing on the back porch while enjoying the views, we indulged in the hot tub every night, and loved exploring the surrounding areas. We were excited for downtown Blue Ridge but highly preferred downtown Ellijay! It was a great town with many cute places to eat and drink. Our favorite winery was Roo Mountain! My boyfriend (now fiancé!) proposed on the back porch at sunset and it was so romantic and definitely unforgettable! We will definitely be back. Thank you, Chip & Carmie, for a lovely stay!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for a quiet get away. My wife and I had gotten married the day before our arrival day. When we got to the cabin, a note with a celebratory bottle of wine was waiting on us from the host. The owner’s hospitality was unparalleled. We had a long list of great restaurants to eat while we stayed which was sent to us by our host. And the view!!!!!! Photos could never do it justice! The most difficult choice we had to make was should we have our coffee from the back deck or from the hot tub deck!!!. The cabin was pet friendly which was huge for us. Plenty of room and great kitchen so we could cook and just hang out and enjoy our time there. I will say that 4 wheel drive is a plus to have to get there but not a must. We will be back!!!! Thanks again for such a great experience!!!
