„A wonderful location right on the Dee Estuary. Although there’s no flowing water we sat on the terrace and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening sun and watched the world and wildlife go by. Our evening meal was great as was breakfast. A lovely big room, very clean and comfortable. All in all a great stay. “

„No lift. But the lady at the front desk with dark hair and bangs was absolutely delightful. As a woman traveling alone she made sure to let me know if I needed anything to reach out, didn’t say my room number out loud in case someone could over hear, and made sure to put me on second level. “

„Amazing, truly an exceptional cottage. Has everything you could possibly need. Excellent communications. Was met by Sue, the host at check in. She went through everything I needed to know. The cottage is situated opposite the Eagle and child pub. Delicious food, super friendly and great value for money. Will definitely be returning. “

„The house suited our needs, however the lounge was upstairs although on the plans it was on the ground floor and we had elderly parents who couldn’t climb the stairs. We arrived to overflowing bins which smelt very bad and they weren’t sorted until the following morning. The photographs are clearly out of date as the accommodation is tired and is used as a HMO.“

„Husband and I have just stayed here for a week with our big puppy and can honestly say the place is so beautiful, Jo and her husband have done a fantastic job with the pod and making it so homely inside. The pod had everything available from bed linen, towels, tea towels, cooking equipment, utensils, toaster, microwave , iron, ironing board, hair dryer, books, log burning fire and more. Also for added security there is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, smoke alarms and security ...
