We love traveling as much as you do. Very often, we bring back the artworks we love. Now we decorate Luna Residence with a world fusion ranging from beautiful Belgian throw, French flax linens, vintage Indian Gate bed-head to the floral artworks from regional New South Wales. Each one of these, there is a story behind it.
The minute you walk in, you feel holiday instantly even you might be traveling for business. We have cozy lounge with wall-mounted flat-screen smart TV, indoor gas fireplace and large sofa. With the National Broadband Network (NBN), you can surf the web and enjoy Netflix just like home.
The kitchen, dining and study area are completely open and inter-connected. This entire area is the centre of your social life during your stay. All the kitchen appliances are brand-new with the latest models: fridge, dish washer, washing machine, dryer, oven, stove, kettle, toaster etc.. The highlight is the latest Vertuo Nespresso machine. It’s a limited edition in jade colour. We have rustic handmade pottery and coffee cups. They are all unique and non replaceable.
Our bedrooms have hotel standard high-quality beds and bedding. Fresh linens and towels are provided just like any 5 star hotels. However, hotel rooms look almost the same. Each of our bed-room is carefully designed and styled from beddings, bedside tables, lamps, light bulbs to curtains. Your experience will be unique.
We have a central air conditioning system in place, capable of efficiently and effectively cooling and heating the entire home, ensuring your utmost comfort during your stay!
Here are the bed configurations: In total 3 bedroom Master bed-room: Queen Size Second bed-room: Queen Size Studio bed-room: Queen Size (Please note that if your party consists of two people, typically one bedroom will be utilized. However, if there are three people, all three bedrooms will be required, incurring an additional linen fee of $80.)
The house was built back in mid 19th century. We have carefully preserved many historical features and characters of the house while integrating modern styles and comforts. The double-brick wall will keep you warm in winter and cool you down in summer. The house is well lit on a sunny day and a nearby ocean breeze flows gently throughout the house.
At the back of the house, a secret passage leads to our studio with a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom. This studio is particularly useful if the travellers prefer more privacy from each other.
In between the main house and the studio, there is private courtyard surrounded by greens. It would be another good social spot, especially for your fur friends.
Unlike in most of the metropolitan accommodations, we are a pet friendly house. Please bring your pets along. Please also bring your pet's beddings and bowls. There will be a pet fee of $75 per stay.
If you have extra time to explore the Blue Mountains, we have another sister accommodation called Charming Mountain Cottage in Blackheath. You can book it under our Homeaway account.
For parking arrangement, there are plenty of street parking in front of our house.From Monday to Friday, 6:30 pm to 8:30 am are free. Between 8:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday, the street parking limit is 2 hours free. Weekend street parking is free.
We have central cooling/heating system in the front house. The back studio has split air-conditioning system. Keep you comfortable all year round - warm in winter and cool in summer.

We had a great stay here, it was a very nice place. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was pretty well stocked with the essentials, communication with the host was good. The thing that wasn't so great was that the WiFi would only really work in the Studio in the middle of the night. Once it got to be around 6 am, it was very spotty and unstable, or didn't even work at all.

Loved our stay
Clean, warm (when heating is on), quality linens, good location for Uber eats deliveries for easy meals.
We loved the separate living quarters, 2 beds/1bathroom in the main house, 1 bed/1bath upstairs in the guest house.
There are a lot of stairs and split level, and the bathroom in the main house is very small. If you have anyone who has mobility issues this place might not be for you.
Walk to a small park 100m away, and then to a large park about 500m away.
Cafe in walking distance.
There isn’t much 3 bedroom accommodation in this part of Sydney that isn’t a unit or small apartment, so we loved having our own space while visiting family a short Uber ride away.
I would stay here again and recommend the house to friends.

A beautiful and central home base
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. A lovely heritage home in a quiet neighbourhood and close to everything. It was a wonderful home base for myself and my family to explore Sydney. Wendy was great to communicate with and ensured that we had parking permits for our stay, which was very much appreciated. The home has been beautifully renovated and designed. The kitchen is gorgeous but we found it challenging to prepare our meals as it is in need of essential cooking utensils. There was only olive oil, salt and pepper available. As such, we had to make some purchases for the house (including napkins and paper towels). High quality Nespresso coffee machine but there weren't enough pods for the four of us for the duration of our stay and we needed to go to the Nespresso store to get the correct pods. In future, a coffee press would be a great addition so that guests could bring their own coffee. The beds were comfortable but the linens are in need of an upgrade as some of our sheets were worn and stained. Given the calibre of the home and cost per night it would be nice to have some good linens and towels (as well as face towels). The bathroom in the main house is quite small but the bathroom in the cottage is very spacious. I really enjoyed staying in the cottage. Again, we all enjoyed our stay but a few extras here would really go a long way especially given the cost. Thank you for hosting us Wendy!

Cute but needed a freshen up before we stayed
Nice and cute little place. It did have several spiders and spider webs so it was like no one had been in the property for months and it did have a musky smell and felt fairly damp so we had to open the windows etc.
Beds are comfy and had nice linen. Overall a cute little place to stay prior to my wedding

Close to everything
This property is a delightful property close to everything. It is in a gorgeous Neighbor hood and provides lovely walks. Lots of steps but this only added to the character of the property. The host was most helpful and we had a wonderful family holiday.

Lovely, well-appointed and in a great location
We had a lovely stay. The house is stylish, comfortable with lovely thoughtful touches such as toiletries.
The location could not be better and I was so pleased that I could take my much loved dog along to stay with us.
