The Neighborhood:
Impressive and extremely convenient surroundings. We're situated on Kent St in Sydney's CBD, just a stone's throw away from Darling Harbour and Wynyard Station.

There’s really nowhere in the world quite like Darling Harbour. From first light to starry nights, there’s always something going on here. Coffee machines froth, water laps, children play, friends chat, steaks sear, glasses clink, bass thumps and fireworks crackle. Infectious sounds travel on harbour breezes as text messages and online updates share snapshots of good times.

There are tons of things to do in the city itself which are mostly a quick stroll away.

I've included most of my favorite places and more in my extensive "Local Recommendations Guidebook" on this listings page, so please feel free to check em' out for awesome things to do and eat in the CBD area.

Getting Around:
Needless to say, surrounded by trains, cabs and buses, getting around is not going to be a problem at all.

(TIP: Sydneysiders commute mostly by train, bus or light rail. Get an "OPAL" card at any train station for AU$60 which comes with $60 worth of credit to get you around via train, bus or light rail).

If you drive, the nearest paid parking lot's available at "WILSON PARKING" - 383 Kent St which is about a 1min walk away from where we are. Alternatively you may look online for other suitable parking options.

If you just need to park your car temporarily for an hour or so, then you may observe the paid street parking signs around us.

If you need to rent a car, the nearest car rental depot's are:

"EUROPCAR" located at Mercure Central 818- 820 George St, Sydney, NSW 2000 which is about a 10min walk away from where we are.

OR

"EUROPCAR" located at 26-36 College St, Sydney NSW 2010 which is about a 15min walk away from where we are.

Alternatively you may look online for other suitable rental car options.

(TIP: Parking in Sydney is super expensive! You'll be lucky to get away with AU$69 a day for parking. Try not to drive if you can cos you're located near them train stations and public transportation in the city is just amazingly convenient. Uber's my preferred option.)

Other Things to Note:
The keys will be in a lockbox and the code will be provided to you before you check-in.

Please be sure to notify us of your arrival times so that we can coordinate the necessary arrangements to check you in.

This pad accommodates 2 adults comfortably but a max of 4 overnight. Any more than 2 adult guests overnight will attract an extra AU$29 per night, per additional guest.

The sleeping arrangement for the 3rd and 4th adult would be on a 3-seater sofa bed which folds out to a queen.

One curtain didn’t work and since it is floor to ceiling with people living directly across the street it was kind of disconcerting. I wasn’t able to communicate that to management and get it fixed.

not worth it

the aircon didnt work apparently it stated in the blurb that it was under repair but was hidden in a place you wouldnt notice it, which it was designed to do. the TV didnt work. nowhere in the shower to put soap etc. i was given a very small compensation for a place without aircon or tv. in the blurb they talk about respecting the property, how about respecting your clients. never again ripped off

Great Location with easy check in process

This studio is centrally located. Easy walking to everything in the CBD. The check in and check out process was very smooth. The unit is a bit bare bones with some stains on the couch and carpet. And the AC is non-operational which I missed in the description and it was quite warm at night with just the fans. Overall though the unit was clean with a great location.

Great central location

The location of the apartment was perfect for our stay in Sydney. We were able to walk to a local grocery store, coffee shop, tourist attractions and upscale stores were also nearby. The apartment itself was quiet, clean and comfortable. We had an issue trying to figure out how to engage the hood over the stove. The property manager, Ana, was quickly available and we made it work. David and I intend to return next year and shall reserve this space when we make our travel arrangements.

Stinks

Great unit , great location ! Unfortunately somebody has smoked in the unit ( prolly a previous owner and for a long time ) the current company has endeavored to get the smoke smell out but has not been entirely successful . It’s compounded by the fact that the current company has installed an unvented dryer that the maids use to do laundry ! This is pumping litres of water into a small unit which makes it smell damp , which when added to the under lying smell of tobacco and the nasty perfumery of scented candles and deodorants leads to a assault on the nose when you first walk in ! This happens every time you walk in ! I brought these issues up to the owners ! It’s a great unit but it needs some help ! The current owners run it with corporate attitude ( bit like stalag 13) which is constantly threatening , I don’t like it and am not used to it from VRBO . Sorry !
