„This is a wonderful beautifully build place in the nowhere. Stylistically you get into an old western hotel, with a lot of taste much attention to detail, beautiful gardens, balconies and terasses. We sat outside for breakfast and enjoyed good wine on the balcony at night. The staff is hard to reach but everything is well organised, we found a message with a key code whwen we arrived. The next restaurant is 15min, and 30min to Durango. “

„Probably the best accommodation during our 2.5 weeks travel through the US. Very nice landladies, very nice room (great mix of old and new elements like USB ports), wonderful breakfast (finally no plastic!) with great food in very nice setting. Can definitely recommend! “

„Antlers on the Creek is a Bed and Breakfast in an amazing location, secluded but close to town. The service is very good. There are two chefs that run the place. They make delicious breakfasts and have snacks for happy hour. Friendly guests and a hot tub that needs the water a little hotter, but it was great anyway. Highly recommended …“

„Wir sind Wiederholungstäter - zum zweiten Mal im China Clipper Inn. Es hat sich nichts geändert und dies ist im positivsten Sinne gemeint. Ein liebevoll eingerichtetes privat geführtes kleines Hotel. Frühstück ist sehr europäisch, wohlschmeckender Kaffee, echtes Besteck, Porzellan. „Our stay was amazing. Purple Mountain was clean and comfortable with easy walking access to downtown. Chris, the host, was phenomenal. From the homemade, exquisite breakfasts to evening happy hour in the living room. Chris was welcoming and we quickly made friends with him, his dogs, and others staying there. Chris was knowledgeable of the area offering places to eat, hike, and alternate routes to drive home for the best views. We will definitely stay there again when visiting Crested ...

"Boden des Zimmers leider sehr dreckig. Pool klein eiskalt. In der Lobby gibt es Kaffee bis 11:00 Uhr. Dieser war aber 10:45 Uhr leer und neuer wurde nicht gemacht („lohnt nicht mehr“). Lage aber gut in der Hauptstraße, Preis günstig. "
