„Spent a lovely few days at the Hobbit Cottage. It has a dog friendly garden and it is a short walk to Kames Bay. You can access the Cathedral of the Isles from the end of the cul-de-sac which takes less than 5 minutes. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. June, our host, was very attentive and you only had to ask if you needed anything.“

The Heather pod was an excellent base for our adventures around the west coast, and a gorgeous spot to settle down with a book and a cup of tea after a long day's walking. Kate is a great host, and the pod was cosy, comfortable and spacious. The setting is great for nature lovers too - we could hear warblers, whitethroats, snipe and more from the pod porch, and even had an encounter with a pine marten during our stay.
