„Our stay had been very relaxing . We specially enjoyed the garden; sitting there in the evenings had been great. The house has its own charm; it is nice to do the kitchen work while watching the sunset. Thanks to Gary for looking after the barbecue grill :-)“

„Cute place with basic needs. I was in San Diego for a conference so really just needed a place to lay my head. The lockbox was difficult to open and I was never able to get it back on. Did have various communication with the owner and she was great. Maybe ask if the lockbox has been changed as that was a challenge.“

„Loved this cottage! It was exactly as described, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes at Newport Pier, about 4 blocks from the house. They do have a small garage but we parked on the street. My husband and I stayed with our 2 teenage kids.“

„This place is amazing! Very close to downtown. Our room was great but we understand the others are even better. There were only 5 cottages and so it was so quiet. We loved hanging out at the lovely pool. We will definitely be back and stay here again!“

„This is a beautiful little beach cottage situated just 2 1/2 blocks from a lovely beach! It was easy to check in and the neighborhood was quiet with the exception of airplanes which we easily drown out by leaving the bathroom fan on! We visited the zoo, Balboa Park museums, Point Loma Tide Pools , Cabrillo National Monument, and of course, the beach! My only complaint is that our stay was too short!“

„The cottage is nicely appointed, and we liked having a parking spot and laundry facilities. Very clean, very quiet. Nice outdoor area for relaxing and space for an 18 month old to play. Janet and Scott were immediately available by phone to help with a minor electrical issue. There were toys and a high chair we used, and a pack & play, which we did not. Roomy closets in both bedrooms, comfortable beds. Would love to stay here again.“

Extremely walkable neighborhood to local restaurants, coffee shops, and bars! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back next time we are in the area. Highly recommend! “
