There are multiple transportation options nearby to take you to wherever your kyoto adventures may take you. The staff was quick and kind enough to let us store our luggages before check in and even offered to deliver them to the house while we were out. They spoke English which was extremely helpful. „Exceeded all expectations—a perfect home away from home! Our stay at Stay Sakura was absolutely wonderful, and the room was even cleaner than expected. For the price, the value and quality are unbeatable! The location is super convenient—it’s right near major bus stops and train lines, making it easy and cheap to travel anywhere in Kyoto (adult bus fares are just 230 yen, and children are half price). It’s also close to beautiful temples, making morning walks a treat, yet still close to the city ...

„Wifi hardly ever worked during our stay. It was extremely disappointing as we needed wifi access. On the checkout date, the cleaners came in without ringing a door bell first just before 10am check out time.“

„This location is at a peaceful part of Kyoto. The train nearby wasn't too loud contrary to other reviews. In the mornings, it does get very bright in the bedroom though. Some parts of the building was also a bit dusty However, it is very spacious for 2 people. The washing machine and dryer was also very convenient and a life saver at times. The amenities provided were also very good.“

„Wonderful clean, spacious and beautiful apartment! Staff all very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for Shinkansen and Toji temple was a must visit. Busy road but not a problem and didn’t stop us sleeping very well. Would recommend!! (Apologies to staff that the umbrella was not returned to holder, it was taken when we left it outside a shop and I forgot to get a replacement) “

„The stay was fantastic! Very close to transport and a lot of great and cheap places to eat. There’s also a very western cafe just down the road-over priced but really great coffee. Beautiful home and lovely amenities. I will say two things: 1. There is a hot plate listed and photographed however this was NOT at the property. I messaged the host and they took a while in responding that it was there…it absolutely was not and we looked everywhere!! It was a shame as we had wanted to cook that ...
