„Das kleine Ryokan liegt sehr ruhig aber trotzdem mittendrin. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Der Service im Restaurant sehr gut. Den Empfang empfanden wir als sehr unfreundlich, es war während des gesamten Aufenthalts so gut wie keine Verständigung auf Englisch möglich. Das Internet geht gar nicht, darauf angesprochen nur Schulterzucken. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein. Es gibt keine Schrankfächer, nur ein paar Bügel, um Dinge zu verstauen. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhäktnis nicht!“

„Eins der besten Hotels, die ich kennenlernen durfte: unfassbar guter Service mit vielen Extras. Sehr schöne Zimmer, gut durchdacht. Logistisch gut in laufnähe zu Gion und dem Palast. “

„Nice renovated traditional house, 1 JR train stop near Kyoto station. Very clean, convenient. Improvements: 1. please remove the wood planks that shrinks the entrance for no reason. It's ugly and literally 50 cm wide: if you're fat, you cannot pass through the doorway and enter the house. 2. Change plastic tableware for ceramic, microwave smells burn, maybe add an induction cooker. Overall nice place to stay in Kyoto.“

„My wife and I had a wonderful stay for 3 nights during our time in Kyoto. Mr. Yoneda reached out to me several days in advance of our arrival with check-in information along with photos to show clear directions from the train station to the house. He greeted us when we showed up, explained all that we needed to know about the house and ensured that all of our questions were answered. The accommodations in the home had what we were looking for in Kyoto: a traditional Japanese-style townhouse ...

„Our crew enjoyed a delightful time in the Kyoto farmhouse. The hosts were most accommodating, Hideo-San is a man of many talents, and his wife is compassionate and very kind. The house itself had the necessary items for cooking and living comfortably. There is a very sweet café, which features kitties and delicious food just a few footsteps away. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will certainly reach out and reconnect with these sweet landlords. “

"Sehr sauberes Hotel, sehr saubere Zimmer. Sehr engagiertes und sehr freundliches Personal. Der kostenlose Transfer vom Bahnhof zum Hotel, bzw. Vom Hotel zum Bahnhof ist perfekt wenn man mit Koffern reist. Das Doppelbettzimmer mit Tatami war genial. Ansonsten ca 500m Fußweg von der Kyoto station weg, eine Aeon Mall zum Shoppen mit Supermarkt drin sind etwa 300m weit weg."

"Perfect Stay Close to Kyoto Station” I had a wonderful stay at Hokke Club Kyoto. It’s incredibly convenient as it’s right across from Kyoto Station, making it easy to explore the city. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, ensuring a smooth experience throughout my stay. The place is very clean and well-maintained. Though the room is small—almost like a cruise ship cabin—it was comfortable, and I slept very well. If you don’t mind the lack of a view and can organize yourself well with limited space, this hotel is perfect. The post office is conveniently located on the right side, and everything you need is within reach. Highly recommend for those who prioritize convenience and cleanliness! Use bag service via reception to not struggle with big bags it works beautifully "
