„We stayed for a wedding- even though the check in fell at a difficult time for the wedding (at the Old Cow Shed) Fran went out of her way to help us get the key, and then gave us a lift to the venue. Room was warm and comfortable with tea, coffee and fresh fruit. Fran also facilitated a late checkout. Couldn’t ask for anything more, and significantly better than the alternative of the travelodge!“

„A lovely country pub. The landlady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room. The food was exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. Even freshly brewed coffee which you do not get in hotels. We were pleasantly surprised.“
