„I received a warm welcome and the room was clean and spacious. There was fresh milk and fresh fruit available in the mini-fridge, which was thoughtful; also, delicious home made chocolate cake! This suited me perfectly for a one-night stopover on my travels.“

„A more traditional hotel, with lots of period features. We received a warm welcome from the staff. The Executive Room we had been allocated had a huge, and very comfortable, bed, and there was plenty of space in the room, with good hanging space and a sofa in the bay window. The bathroom was a little dated, but entirely functional. The hotel is close to the centre, but has lots of free parking to the rear. We did not have breakfast. We would definitely use this hotel in the future.“

„Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Staff were lovely. Friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was very clean, well appointed and cosy. Bed was comfortable. Bar / restaurant offered excellent food and drinks both in the evening and next morning for breakfast. Continental Breakfast included in the price was more than sufficient for our needs. Hopefully we'll get another opportunity to stay there. “

„Very clean. Is a parking lot nearby 2 mins opposite church £5.80 for 24hrs. Got email with instructions to enter. You need to get code to open little lock boxes just outside front door. Is a restaurant next door, think same owner. Were friendly if need advice to enter. Might want earplugs Sunday morning as church bells ring, but i like that. Overall great place and very reasonable price. Right downtown too. “

„The hotel is not exactly new but it is fine for the prices charged. The staff members were excellent, being centrally located, the hotel is easily accessible from any part of town and ideal for people visiting the nearby universities like the Leicester university. Overall, the place is good and value for money and the management is keen on refurbishing it.“
