We arrived and an additional fee of 40 US$ was charged. This was not communicated in advance. We prepaid the hotel and had no choice as otherwise we would have lost the entire amount. W hotel should have anounced it prior booking it. This is not correct and hotels.com should have advised but now ...

The Coach House and The Stable
Check-in was early, which I appreciated. However, the room fell well below expectations: it had no window, a damp smell, no hot water, and felt very run-down. It also didn’t feel clean, and there were no hooks in the bathroom for towels. Overall, I would not recommend the Stables.

St Catherine's Hospital - Bath
Apartment was very clean and well kept. Bed was comfortable with a great bathroom. Very central location, great for exploring Bath. Some noise around 7am when they deliver towels to the Spa next door, but otherwise quiet, as it's on side street/no through road.
