„Lovely large cabin in the woods. Good view of the mountain across the way. The stars are very bright and beautiful at night. The cabin itself was well furnished for our large group. We especially appreciated the pool table and the numerous balconies. The kitchen was well stocked with various utensils. Not far from Luray if you need supplies.“

„Perfect get away to find peace and recharge. Spent four nights at Lakota to escape the DC hustle and left refreshed. Bed was very comfortable as was the couch and outside furniture. Kitchen is well equipped. The cabin sits back from the main road and is obscured by trees from the road behind so plenty of privacy and quiet. The recently graded and smoothed access road is gravel which wasn't an issue with our SUV and we saw plenty of non-SUV vehicles going up and down (early September). ...

„Aside from food, the place was already stocked with everything you need. Nice comfortable setup. Spent a lot of time hanging out on the deck and enclosed porch just enjoying the view and sounds of nature. Nice and fairly secluded spot but still close enough to venture out and explore what Luray has to offer. We visited Cooter's place (The Dukes of Hazard Museum), The Luray Rescue Zoo, The Luray Caverns and the other attractions they have at the cavernsand found us a fishing spot. Just enjoyed ...

„This rustic cabin in the woods was a perfect get away for unplugging and unwinding. WiFi and tvs allowed the teen to still feel connected, while the hammock, screened in porch, fire pit and natural surroundings created a sense of serenity. Clean, simple accommodations and friendly, non-intrusive host included helped make this a great stay.“

„We had such a great time staying here! Communication with Giselle was fast and easy, and she even helped with an early check-in to avoid some tricky weather on our drive up. The house itself is just so cute and well put together. It was actually relaxing to be there with a toddler (not a small compliment if you know!) and just had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved using the hot tub and it was an easy drive to Luray Caverns. Definitely recommend and will consider staying here ...
