Step into a peaceful hideaway nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, bordering Shenandoah National Park, accompanied by the sounds of nature and a babbling stream. Perched on a lush mountainside, you’ll find a home full of character with modern comforts. The cabin’s intentional design invites adventure, connection, and relaxation.
Hidden Hollow is an ideal getaway for families or friend groups looking to explore the natural beauty of the Upper Pocosin and the Shenandoah Valley. And just 45 minutes away is Massanutten Resort. Free passes are included for Massanutten Fitness & Rec Club and Woodstone Recreation Center - including pools, sauna, gym, arcade and more!
Enjoy days exploring the nearby trails, wineries, breweries, shops, restaurants, and historical sites. If you’re feeling adventurous, hike directly to the Conway River Trail across the Conway river or make the 30 minute drive to the Skyline Drive Swift Run Gap entrance station. Or you can explore Massanutten’s myriad other offerings, including a waterpark, skiing and snowboarding, golf, mountain biking, horseback riding, and more.
When you’re not out adventuring, lean into the peace and quiet of your own forest retreat. Take in the forest, stream, and ridgeline views from the expansive back deck as you sip your morning coffee and watch for songbirds. Prepare meals in the kitchen equipped with modern appliances, cookware, and utensils, or fire up the Weber grill out back. After dinner, walk up to our Star Gazer’s Landing. As dusk settles in, keep an eye out for wildlife. Gather around the fire pit to roast s’mores. As the embers burn, take in the night sky, far from the lights of the city.
When the warmth and comfort of the indoors call, settle into the living room with your group and play a game or stream your favorite movie. Or cozy up on your own in the reading nook. Every space at Hidden Hollow is thoughtfully designed to encourage different ways to interact with each other and the surrounding environment.
The cabin sleeps up to six adults. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and en-suite bathroom with a standalone shower and bathtub, while bedrooms 2 and 3 share a second full bath on the main level.
