„Check in was easy and the staff were very considerate and helpful to inform you of the hotel and where your room was. The rooms are modern and clean which is great. Some small complaints though. „Je nachdem, in welchem Gebäude man das Zimmer bekommt: im Gebäude an der Straße ist es nachts etwas laut.“

„It’s such a lovely place, a historic building surrounded by beautiful gardens. The evening I arrived I went for a hike to the nearest tor. The foot path starts right across the street and takes you up to wonderful views of the countryside in just 20 min! My room had a big bath tub and I took a long bath after the hike. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Loved every moment of my stay. “

„Sehr schön und ruhig gelegenes Hotel. Toller Pool Bereich der im Preis inbegriffen ist. Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. “

„Hier war jetzt alles perfekt ! “

„Good location in Dartmoor after a day of walking. Our room was well equipped. Pub nearby served nice food and drinks. Right next to hotel you can take the Nun’s Cross walk, which is about 2 h. Saw many ponies, cows and sheeps on the way as well as beautiful landscapes.“

„Die Zimmer in dieser Unterkunft sind sehr schön und geräumig. Haben eine sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht.“

There is a kitchen and basic breakfast items are provided. There was tea bags, sugar and milk in the room with a kettle. As this is a house that you share with other guests I was mindful of the ...

„The Blue Lion is ideally situated for a stop over when making a long journey to Cornwall. The room was well equipped and comfortable. There is some traffic noise from the road, but that did not spoil our one night stay. The staff were welcoming and the locals were friendly. The evening meal was excellent. I would stay here again if travelling in this area.“

„The White Hart provides clean basic rooms at an excellent price.“
