„Last minute trip to get away for some weekend fun. Weather was cold and rainy, and I spent an evening in the hospital after getting knocked out whitewater rafting. Not my idea of fun. However, the cabin, ambience, hospitality, and friendly community made this one of my favorites of all time. My bird dogs also had the time of their lives!!!“

„It was the most relaxing days I’ve ever spent. The home was very well appointed. You couldn’t ask for anything more!! Fire pit with swing was more than fantastic! “

„My girlfriend and I simply loved staying here. It's the kind of place you wish that you lived in full-time. Being able to use a hot tub any time of the day is a true luxury!The sheer privacy and beauty of the natural surroundings is unmatched. The cabin is actually a very nicely rennovated mobile home with all of the conveniences this entails: laundry room, full kitchen, extremely cozy living room, a master bedroom and a small second bedroom with twin bed. „This property is beautiful and very unique. It’s a super short drive to Fort Necessity and nearby stores. The scenery is incredible and peaceful; neighbors are a good distance away on the property. Definitely take a vehicle that has good ground clearance/4wd. Great experience! “

„This cabin was just as advertised, and perfect for our family. We were looking for some winter isolation, and found it at the Outpost. The fireplace was great, the arrangement was perfect for family games in front of the fire or at the table, the kitchen had what we needed, and the beds were comfortable. The owners were very responsive to a few questions we had, and we enjoyed saying hello to their two very friendly dogs who stopped by. We would stay there again, summer or winter.“

„Great place. Quiet at top of hill. Bed comfortable. Can have a fire and firewood sales are at a house on the way to this place. Easy check in and check out. Restaurants were close. Heater/AC is a little loud and hot tub not the hottest I’ve ever felt but both were within tolerances. Nice gas indoor fireplace. All the kitchen things you’d ever need. 1 shower/bath with 1 toilet. Was very clean. “

„We stayed at the cabin for a weekend getaway. The house was very clean and organized. The mattress was comfortable. We didn’t do any cooking so I’m not sure how the kitchen was stocked. The hot tub appears to be well maintained and worked fine. Overall recommend!“

„Perfect and cozy. Minutes from Linn Run State Park, Laurel Summit, Spruce Flats Bog, and Wolf Rocks Trail. We enjoyed the large deck with covered dining area while bird watching and hearing lots of spring migrants. Having a remote controlled air conditioning/heating unit in each room is a real plus. And the electric fireplace in the living area took the chill out of the room quickly and provided a cozy ambiance. Being only 10 minutes from Ligonier provided delicious dining opportunities. ...

„The house was roomy, well laid out and accessible for use with a walker. There is a nice handicap accessible walk in shower. Plenty of comfortable seating. Convenient locatuin. The view of the river was very nice. Our only complaint is the 2 beds in the 3 season room are not useable in colder nights, a small heater would be great in the cooler months“
