The Space:
Gulfview II a small walk to beach condo complex located on the South End of South Padre Island. The south end of the Island is where all the entertainment is located. The south end is also great as it helps you avoid busy weekend traffic delays.
This property is walking distance to the new Holiday Inn Beach Resort that has 2 restaurants open to public, as well as next door is Beach Park SPI, formerly known as Schlitterbahn Waterpark
While Gulfview II (and it's sister property Gulfview I) are not beachfront, there is an EZ beach access located due north of the Holiday Inn that is convenient and totally walkable with a wagon with your beach gear.
Gulfview has arguably the best pool area not on the beach, while the pool is not heated the hot tub is. It also has about half a dozen built in BBQ charcoal grills that are first come/first serve use right off the pool with a shaded dining area with plenty of picnic tables. This is one of the main reasons guests love this property.
The condo itself is on the 4th floor and the property does have an elevator. While the condo is not a brand new renovation - we think you will really like it - it is super clean and functional in every way. The kitchen has all the basic amenities you will need for quick meal preps for your family.
While we allow up to 6 guests, understand this space really isn't adequate for 6 adults. A couple with kids it is perfect for however. or a small group of friends that don't mind sharing a bedroom. The pull out couch in living room does allow for more space than just the 2 double beds in the 1 bedroom, FYI
We do provide a double sized airbed with pump, though please bring extra bedding if you do want to use it. There is a very small private patio with 2 chairs though it doesn't afford a superb view.
Please note we do have unit 410 right next door if you have friends or family that want to join!
Condo has smart TVS for your app/accounts to wind down to movies after a long day at the beach.
While we have the best available Internet/wifi from spectrum they are the only provider on the island and up time and coverage can be spotty at times we want you to be aware of that
If you can't find the network name SouthPadreTrips it's usually means we had a power outage and when the power comes back on It typically defaults the router to the factory network name and password, which is located on a sticker on top of the router.
Generally, if you reboot the router by unplugging it for a few minutes and plugging it back in it will pop up
*Free Parking Off Street
Complex has an elevator so you don't have to climb stairs unless desired. Community use laundry area for the complex. There is (1) provided off street parking space.
While we allow up to 6 people, we feel the space is adequate for a couple with kids. There are 2 double beds plus a pull out couch as well as a double sized airbed and pump we provide. Please bring extra bedding if you plan to use the airbed.
We provide linens & towels, but do not provide beach towels. Kitchen has all the utensils, dishes, etc. For stays over 4 nights, we do provide complimentary towel & linen exchange at our office South Padre Trips at 2600 Padre Blvd across street from water towel on main blvd.
For work, there is high speed WiFI in unit as well as counter to work off of.
Gulfview II is superior to Gulfview I as they do not charge for wristband deposits...however....
Please note: The security wristband fee that is required is $25 per person. It is fully refundable.
That is due prior to check-in. They have to return the wristbands and the parking permit to our office to receive the refund if they cannot leave it in the unit

We do have a drop box if after hours. You must return the parking permit and all wristbands to receive a refund. Anything missing will be charged $25 for each missing item.
During March and Easter weekend The wristband fees are completely nonrefundable. They also are not optional. Alternatively, if you don't wish to pay us, you can pay Security direct in all Cash and the security bands actually cost more if you do it that way, but that's up to you as a guest. it's not our fee.
It is important to read & agree to all house rules prior to booking. Message us questions prior to booking, not after.

If you are not 25, we do NOT allow you to book unless you contact us first :) though it may be possible with additional requirements
Please contact us prior to making a reservation not after about these stipulations above as we have a strict cancel policy. We are fully disclosing this prior to booking and require all guests to read and agree to all house rules as well as submit a docusign rental agreement contract with a pic of your photo ID to age verify. This is not optional

Guest Access:
Guests have full private access to the entire fourth floor condo, which includes a comfortable bedroom, a functional kitchen, a full bathroom, and a small private patio with seating. Beyond the unit, you are welcome to enjoy the shared amenities of the Gulfview complex, including the large outdoor pool and the heated hot tub. The complex also provides several charcoal barbecue grills and a shaded picnic area for outdoor dining. You will have access to the community laundry facilities and one dedicated off street parking space. The beach is easily accessible via a short walk to the designated path just north of the nearby resort.
The Neighborhood:
Located on the southern end of South Padre Island, our condo places you in the heart of the local entertainment scene while providing a peaceful retreat from busy weekend traffic. You are just a short, easy walk from the pristine beach, with convenient public access points nearby. For family fun, the Beach Park at South Padre Island is located right next door, making it incredibly easy to enjoy a day at the waterpark. You will also find the Holiday Inn Beach Resort within a quick walk, offering two restaurants that are open to the public. The neighborhood is perfect for those who want to be near the action without being in the middle of the crowded main strips.
Getting Around:
Getting around South Padre Island is easy and convenient from our location. We provide one dedicated off street parking space for your vehicle, which is ideal for exploring the island at your own pace. If you are traveling with additional vehicles, extra free parking is available at the island intermodal bus station, the local post office, or along Gulf Boulevard. For those relying on public transportation, the island offers accessible options to help you navigate the area. Please note that a golf cart is considered a vehicle for parking purposes.
Other Things to Note:
Check in begins at 3 pm and check out is at 11 am. Please note that the primary tenant must be at least 25 years old and provide a valid photo ID along with a signed rental agreement prior to arrival to receive your door code. We allow up to 6 guests, including infants. Parking is limited to one vehicle. A refundable security wristband fee of 25 dollars per person is required for all guests and must be settled before arrival. During March, this fee is mandatory and nonrefundable. Please be mindful of the complex quiet hours from 10 pm to 9 am. No pets are allowed on the premises. We provide a starter pack of essential supplies, but guests should plan to bring additional items for longer stays. At checkout, please set the thermostat to 78 degrees, start the dishwasher with your used dishes, and remove all trash to the designated dumpster to avoid additional cleaning fees.

Our property is professionally managed by the South Padre Trips team, and our local office is conveniently located at 2600 Padre Boulevard.
