The 2-bedroom Appartamento Annarita Home (sleeps 5) is set on the second floor of the building (lift available), with 80 square meters of floorspace, in a central location close to the train and bus station. The nearest beach is just 1km away, and the supermarket a convenient 50m stroll. With a fully equipped kitchen, you can choose between eating out or the flexibility of preparing your own meals, checking out and trying local ingredients from the nearby shops and delis. The apartment features everything you need for a comfortable stay in the city, including air conditioning, Wi-Fi, balconies and 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. A double sofa bed extends the sleeping capacity to a total of 5 people.

• Sorrento is busy during the peak months of July and August. Visit in early summer or early autumn to fully appreciate the region’s mild climate and extraordinary natural beauty.
• Driving on the Sorrento peninsula can be tricky if you’re not used to narrow, winding roads. Instead, take advantage of the local public transport options and leave the stress of driving and parking to someone else.
• When you want a break from self-catering, you’ll find a huge range of dining options on your doorstep, from simple pizzerias to family-run seafood restaurants.
