„Very traditional hotel, with lots of gold, deco, etc. It's about 10-15 min drive from city center. Taxis are not always available, so plan a car in advance if you need to go to the city. Perfect for smokers though - some rooms have balconies“

„Прекрасный отель. Даже не смотрите по сторонам. В самом лучшем месте Алматы, до Достык Плазы 700 метров. Персонал очень вежливый и помогает во всем. Завтраки приносят в номер во сколько вы пожелаете. Даже местные на геликах и других дорогих машинах в этом отеле останавливаются. Вообщем цена качество просто супер. Особенная благодарность Ансару “

„Park Dedeman is a great hotel to stay for business and vacation. Location is not exactly the best, but very affordable price to stay balances all that. I reserved two rooms, but one had problems with electricity. One of the female staff (It pains me that I forgot her name... „Gutes Hotel mit europäischem Standard. Zimmer war sauber und ausreichend groß, Klima hat gut gekühlt aber ließ sich nicht komplett ausschalten. Im Flur im 4. Stock leider sehr laute Klima ohne Wirkung und unangenehmer Geruch. Frühstück war ausreichend, Brot und Kaffee leider Nix.“

Nachteile waren lediglich: kaum noch Wasserdruck wenn man wirklich warm duschen möchte, Klimaanlage war im März bei 22 grad draußen nicht anzuschalten was im Zimmer 28 grad mit sich brachte, Bar in der Lobby unverhältnismäßig teuer für das preislevel in der Stadt, Beispiel 1 lokal Bier 7,90 EUR“

„Das Intercontinental zählt zu den besten Hotels in Almaty, die Zimmer sind aber leider stark abgenutzt und das Inventar einschließlich völlig vergilbter Telefone aus den 90er Jahren mindestens zwanzig Jahre alt. Angesichts des Zustandes sind die Übernachtungspreise von rund €400 nicht zu rechtfertigen. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis der Gastronomie ist schlecht.“

„We booked a one BR Apartment for a family of 4 including 2 kids (5 yo). The apartment and the bathroom was spacious and fully equipped. The sofa bed in the living room converted to a pull out bed (unfortunately it is the most uncomfortable bed for 2). The location of the hotel is excellent, with 2 minutes walk to the famous Arbat Street. There are plenty of supermarkets around, with a huge Magnum store just across the road in Lumier building. “

„We loved our stay here. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and assist us. The breakfast was the most extensive buffet we have ever seen; we were shocked that there had been negative reviews. The location is great. There is a nice park across the street and it’s a short walk to many great sights. “

„Sehr gutes Hotel, aber das kommt aber auch schon in Jahre. Bedarf an kosmetische reparaturen ist ersichtlich. Von der Seite Expedia habe ich leider keine Informationen erhalten, dass bei früheren Check-in einen zusätzlichen tag gebucht werden soll. Das mußte ich Vorort feststellen und buchen, aber schon zu anderen Konditionen.“

I wanted them to arrange me a driver to Big Almaty Lake. All I got was a Flyer with guided tours, I should call there. At the checkout they wanted me to charge something from the Minibar. I haven't drank anything. They didn't charged me, but overall the reception didn't make a good impression. The room was okay, very old and ...

„We weren't very pleased with this place. For starters, we found out upon arrival that we had to pay 6000 tenge for two people/two nights. Below is the only mention of potential fees: "Hotel fees The price DOES NOT include any applicable hotel service fees, charges for optional incidentals (such as minibar snacks or telephone calls), or regulatory surcharges. The hotel will assess these fees, charges and surcharges upon check-out." The staff claimed this was a newly imposed tax from Feb 2023. ...

"Das Hotel ist ein Blickfang, man findet es auch auf der Rückseite des 5.000er Geldscheins, aufgrund seiner Höhe sieht man es von weitem. Lobenswert muss man die Freundlichkeit und Flexibilität des Hotelpersonals anmerken, dass trotz Ankunftszeit um Mitternacht Zimmerkorrekturen vorgenommen hat!!! Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber, das Frühstück war auch sehr gut; einzig die Einrichtung war teilweise aus älterer Zeit so auch die Fenster. Aber dem guten Gesamteindruck hat das nicht geschadet."
