Shipton Oliffe Urlaub günstig buchen

Alles gut.

Arrived at the hotel reception and had to wait for somebody to come and check me in. After this walked to my room and the carpet throughout was stained and looked like it needed to be replaced a while back. When I then got to my room, the walls were dirty, there were stains on the chairs, the furniture was extremely dated and worn, along with cobwebs, 2 spiders, a hair on the pillow and crumbs on the desk! The bathroom wasn’t much better with discoloured dirty looking grout and a damp smell. I asked to change rooms but was advised they were fully booked apart from a twin room, which I declined as this was not what I booked. Someone was sent to ‘dispose’ of the spiders and left, at which point I noticed how dirty the window seals were. At this stage I daren’t look at the pool and sauna facilities. If it hadn’t been 9pm at night with no other rooms at other hotels available, I wouldn’t have stayed. The staff were pleasant although dinner wasn’t the smoothest process and a delay despite not being busy, and 2 menus for a table of 5. Safe to say I will not return. The whole place needs a refurb.

Room was lovely, spacious and clean. Communal areas are a bit dated and tatty in places. The location is quite rural. It’s £5 to park overnight. WiFi was it and miss. They are dog friendly which is fab. For the price it was good.
