A most exquisite place

The "Seven" is a most exquisite and professionally run place. The location is superb, only five minutes from the beach. The service is impeccable, and the personal attendance of the owner to every little detail is much beyond the expected. The friendly and warm atmosphere of the place makes one feel at home. Art lovers will find a fine collection of contemporary art in the individually furnished guest rooms and the public areas. Not to forget the outstanding breakfast with fresh fruit and pastry of excellent quality.

Cooles B&B der feinsten Sorte und bestem Service

Absolut charmante Gastgeberinnen mit Blick für Details bei Frühstück und den Belangen der Gäste. Bestes Frühstücksbüffet der Insel mit Croissants, Pain au chocolat, Franz. Baguette und frischen Früchten zum Abwinken. Stylische Einrichtung mit viel Kunst/Bildern etc. Das ganze Haus zeugt von gutem Geschmack und Lifestyle. Aufenthalte länger als drei Tage sind zu empfehlen!!! Ein guter Ausgangsort zur Erkundung der Insel. SEVEN we will be back again soon! Beautiful B&B right near the beach

My husband and I stayed for two nights at Seven for a short honeymoon, and we could not have been happier. Beth was friendly, helpful, and generous, and the house was pretty, spotless, and the shower and bed wonderful. The house is just five minutes from the beach, and the included continental breakfast had the best croissants we have ever had outside of France!

It was a beautiful place! Under construction however, Beth was Amazing! Amelia was so hospitable. Close to everything and it certainly helped that the weather was spectacular! Will definitely go back another time!

Best B&B Experience of our lives

Our stay at SEVEN was hands down the best B&B experience my partner and I have ever had, thanks in no small part to its extraordinary host, Beth. We rented during low season around Christmastime to get away from NYC and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Beth kindly picked us up from the ferry landing in her car and gave us a quick tour of the island before taking us to the inn, where we were promptly pampered and spoiled. When you first walk in the door, you are greeted by her sweet weimaraner, Evie. Beth is an art collector and you'll note many gorgeous pieces hanging on the walls. There are rooms on the first and second floors and they are all newly-renovated and beautifully-appointed with luxurious and comfortable beds. Everything is immaculately clean with not one speck of dust in sight. The bathrooms are stocked with fine soaps and have every amenity promised and more. Every day for breakfast, Beth spared no expense providing a gourmet spread of steel cut oats, Greek yogurt, French croissants, homemade quiche, Manchego cheese, local brie, fresh fruit and juices, three different kinds of coffee, tea -- you name it. After breakfast, we would pour ourselves a second cup of coffee and sit outside on the porch, reading our books and soaking in the idyllic view. What impressed me the most about SEVEN is Beth's superb and meticulous attention to detail. She knew that we wanted to visit the local wineries and she helped us plan the excursion, providing us with a m

I went to Seven for a mental break for two nights and came back totally refreshed. Beth was so welcoming and made me feel like an old friend staying in her home. She gave me advice on the island and where the best walks and beaches were. The breakfast in the morning was a very relaxed affair with delicious fresh, healthy food..... steel cut oatmeal, breads, cheese, fruit, muffins, boiled eggs........I can't wait to return for another break and highly recommend this jewel on Shelter Island.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We have been to shelter island and yet it was seen in this trip with a whole new light.
