At 1,386 sq ft it feels nothing like a typical 1-bedroom - soaring open ceilings, a gas fireplace, a pool table, and an arcade machine in the bedroom. Drive in past a small creek and pond, park in the hills, and spend your evenings in the private hot tub on the back porch. Bears (including a local named Dolly) are spotted every week or two - the Smoky Mountains experience in its truest form.

The bedroom has an arcade machine right in it - a fun surprise for guests. The pool table in the main living area draws competitive evenings together. Both flat-screen TVs have Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube TV already logged in. Game console also available.

Fully stocked for real cooking - Keurig and drip coffee maker, blender, Crockpot, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, full-size refrigerator, all cookware and dishes. The dining area seats the full group comfortably.

Both TVs are pre-loaded with Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube TV - no login fumbling. Fast WiFi throughout.



Laundry

Full-size washer and dryer on site. Bring the dogs, leave the laundry pile behind. Starter linens and towels included.



Outdoor

Drive up past a small creek and pond on approach - the setting tells you immediately this is the real deal. The private hot tub on the back porch is surrounded by trees and perfect after a long hiking day. Propane BBQ grill for evening cookouts. Rocking chairs on the front and back porch to take in the birds, the trees, and possibly Dolly the black bear and her cubs wandering through.

Self-check-in via keypad entry. Free parking in the driveway. Your host is available throughout your stay.



Other Things to Note:

Road to the property is paved but steep - 4WD or AWD strongly advised in snow or bad weather.

Dogs are welcome (up to 2). Dogs must be kenneled or with you - not left loose inside or outside unattended.

Bears are indigenous to the area and spotted near the property regularly. Never leave food or trash outside.

No smoking inside the cabin.
