„Check in was very easy. Nice location with an easy walk to the lake. We had a family of deer that visited us every afternoon. Loved going on the lake on the kayaks. We were able to see a few loons and a bald eagle. Very serene and beautiful place!“

„We were impressed with how neat and tidy the host kept his B & B. A wildlife-inspired aesthetic is evident in the communal dining area as well as in the four bedrooms on the second floor. The atmosphere emitted by this lends itself to the outdoor environment, which Don has nicely captured.Additionally, he provided highlights and places to consider for visitors to Moosehead Lake. “

Good spot for going out and exploring (drove Golden Road and scenic byway near Mt Katahdin, hiked Mt Kineo, watched moose near Greenville). Ate dinner at nearby Rockwood Bar & Grill. Excellent!“

„Per the Expedia listing this lodge had a bathroom in the room, a kitchentte, microwave and fridge. In reality, it did not! We had to share a bathroom~~ I do NOT want to share a bathroom with strangers on a vacation. Not at $150 per night. Taking turns? No, not on my vacation. One bathroom for several guest rooms. NOT ok. Sharing a TV with strangers? No thank you! The host was nice, but this property is NOT as advertised. It smelled weird and had taxidermy FULL sized BEAR in the dining ...
