„We had the best week on Mt Kineo! This house is cozy and also big enough for a larger group to stay comfortably. We loved the privacy along with easy access to beaches and boat slips. The wrap around porch is amazing. This is a special place and we hope to be back next year!“

„We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views of the lake. Unfortunately, it was raining for about the first 24 hours that we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the back deck. Quaint little place, but fulfilled our needs.“

„Everything was great except the beds and linens. Pillows should be replaced-stained. Mattresses were hard as a rock, very uncomfortable and bed frame squeaked.Linens should be updated, very old. The family did a lot of outdoor activities, it would have been wonderful to go to bed and get needed rest but unlikely with the mattresses and flat stained pillows. Betty McBrien“

„We throughly enjoyed the house. It was well equipped and loved the porch. The master bed was great! The lock on the door does not work and we had to use a key. The mosquitos were awful there but not at other places we visited. Wonder if there is a breeding ground for them close by and they need to spray. They limited our time outside even during the day.“

„We stayed two nights to access the local hunting area. The cabin is very cute and well decorated in rustic way. The linens and towels are nice, travel size soap, shampoo and conditioner was a nice touch. Well stocked kitchen. The dock was removed during our stay so we loss that use. A bit bummed we couldn’t use the kayaks or canoes there as they are noted to be owners use only. The listing stated use a kayak, wish I knew I would need to bring mine. „Perfect in every way. Our multi generational family gathering for the total eclipse couldn’t have been better. We ate and puzzled and read in the beautiful house, explored lily bay, and then had the most idillic lake side view for the perfect weather eclipse. House had everything we needed.“

„Second year at this property and we will be back again! Nice improvements to property from last year to this year. Goose poop on beach and lawn was not ideal but it is a natural setting!“

Only disappointment is the lack of moose. Used to be tons of moose around only saw two whole week. Used to see at least that or more in one day We’ll be back again!“

The Living Room furniture is rather "funky" and fun, but the couch really needs to be replaced. Loved all the updates made to the cabin. The great amount of work that has gone into updating this cottage is obvious. Kudos to the people that have worked so hard to update this property!“

„We stayed in April to experience the eclipse. The house is right on Moose River. In warmer weather we definitely would have taken advantage of the access as well as the firepit. Close to snowmobile trails and plenty of summer time activities. Would highly recommend. Communication with owner was excellent.“
