2123 Bay Pointe Villa “Marsh House”

Welcome to Seabrook Island, one of South Carolina's most unique and exclusive oceanfront communities. You've found your piece of paradise in this serene recently renovated 2nd floor Bay Pointe Villa. The expansive marsh views stretch out before you in every direction - fully immersing you in the natural splendor the low country has to offer.

The Bay Pointe Villas private community on Seabrook Island sits on the very edge - a peninsula open to the natural serenity of the marsh. The gated community offers a private dock to launch kayaks, go crabbing, watch dolphins, or enjoy the breath-taking sunsets each evening. You can observe the shrimp boats across the river departing from historic Rockville, as well as the sailboats drifting out from the Bohicket Marina. The tranquil Bay Pointe community pool & grilling area is just a few steps away and sits beneath the foliage of the live oak trees. You can enjoy the salt air breeze and gaze out at the swaying grasses of the marsh while taking a refreshing dip in the pool.

Marsh House's charming and updated open layout is comfortable and inviting. The kitchen is well-equipped featuring granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and both regular brew and Keurig coffee makers. A dining area with seating for 4 is adjacent to the kitchen. The living room area is full of natural light and highlighted by a queen sleeper sofa, wall mounted 55" HD smart tv equipped with Roku and sliding doors leading to the screened porch.

You'll love spending time on the screened porch with comfortable lounge seating for 2 and a ceiling fan to circulate the coastal breeze. The ecosystem indiginous to the region will come to life before you in every sense - from the swelling of the tide beneath the marsh grasses to the array of exotic birds landing on the oak branch in front of you. Birds, deer, alligators, turtles, bobcats, and dolphins are some of the fauna that have made this island home for over hundreds of years. You have a front-row view to the wildlife of the Island from the comfort of your screened porch.

The master bedroom has a king bed with another set of sliding doors accessing the screened porch. You can open the drapes and watch the sunrise from bed - the sky envelops the light of the sun and warmth floods into the bedroom. The full bathroom features a walk in shower, large vanity area and hair dryer. There is also a full sized washer/dryer for your convenience.

The Bay Pointe Villa gated community is located toward the front entrance to Seabrook Island which makes it an ideal location to enjoy all the island has to offer. The Bay Pointe Villas community pool, charcoal grill and a dock with kayak rack. Hop on a bike and you can be just about anywhere in minutes. Bohicket Marina is just a block away, while Freshfields Shopping Village is just a bit further down the bike trail. Enjoy all the best that Seabrook has to offer from this sensational property.
You're a quick walk or bike ride to Freshfields Village, the Bohicket Marina, Seabrook Island Lake House or Equestrian Center. The Freshfields Village offers high end refined shopping and dining. This quaint area features an incredible selection of cuisine, wine & craft beer, as well as a Harris Teeter grocery store with fresh produce and anything you may need. The local coffee shop and bookstore are sure to satiate your need to nestle up with a cup of coffee and a good book. Freshfields additionally hosts a variety of activities throughout the year such as outdoor movies on the lawn, farmers markets, local wine & beer tastings, craft fairs, and much more. The Bohicket Marina is the central location for many of the island's activities such as boating, sailing, jet ski/kayak rentals, and fishing charters. The Salty Dog Restaurant hosts live music most nights, you can sit out and enjoy the view of the boats passing while sipping a cold drink and enjoying the acoustic tunes.

For guests that wish to venture from paradise, historic downtown Charleston is a mere 21 miles away. **Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes.

Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.
Gate pass car total is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment of $40/gate pass(es) is due at time of your final payment.
Any changes made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival are non-refundable. If you add a gate pass less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, a $10 additional fee will apply.

THIS PROPERTY ALLOWS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 2 GATE PASSES TOTAL
Once the car has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive.

Amenity cards giving you access to the Seabrook Island Club are not available with this villa and cannot be purchased. Lake House Amenity cards giving you access to the facilities of the Seabrook Island Lake House are included in the rent which allows access to The Lake House outdoor pool year-round at no charge (not heated). Added fees apply to use the indoor pool/fitness center. Guests also have access to the Equestrian Center.

Cancellation Policy:

For cancellation made up to 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee.
For cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If we are able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, guests will be refunded an amount equal to the new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest's under the terms of the Rental Agreement.

For monthly rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee.
For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If we are able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, guests will be refunded an amount equal to the new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest's under the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Mini vacation

This home was just as described with no surprises! Attractive decor and extremely clean. Comfort & cleanliness are my top requirements for a vacation home and this home was both. The marsh setting is beautiful. The pool is also in a pretty setting surrounded by marsh (no bugs) with a family of hawks to keep us company. We had a wonderful mother-daughter trip and hope to return to this spot.

Cutest Condo in an Amazing Private Community

Great accommodations to experience the Seabrook Island Private Community and amenities. The entire island is beautiful! The condo was perfect for two adults or for a young family and was very clean! This condo is in a quiet, gated section on the marsh-side of the property.

Peaceful and beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay with a very clean and comfortable villa. The island was beautifully landscaped and had a short boardwalk to the beach. The charcoal grill was a nice bonus for grilling out instead of gas. We were close to several restaurants and Charleston was only about 45 minutes away. The shopping area was a delight with unique shops and restaurants. There is a nice grocery store with well stocked deli/seafood/meat departments. It provided everything we needed for our stay with a friendly staff. I look forward to staying here again!
