„This is a spectacular property overlooking the tidal Benjamin River, seen through the huge windows in the livingroom as well as from a nice outdoor deck, patios and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very convenient to get to Deer Isle, Blue Hill and all the other nearby towns. Highly recommended!“

„We had a lovely stay at the Gray Barn Carriage House. It was so quiet and peaceful! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was large and comfy, and there were plenty of reading nooks and sofas to relax on after a day on the hiking trails. We miss it already.“

„This is a great place to stay when visiting Acadia NP and Mount Desert Island. We stayed with our four children (ages ranging from 14 to 23) and had plenty of space. The back yard and hot tub were greatly appreciated after hiking days. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, but we also took advantage of local restaurants. Wonderful vacation spot! Also, the hosts were quick to respond to questions.“

„house was very clean. Owner stopped by and was very responsive to any questions. the AC worked great! the home was peaceful and spending time on the kayaks and down by the water was amazing. I would highly recommend this home.“

„This is such a unique property. The attitude and helpfulness of all the staff and the owners makes you feel like you have known them forever. The main house is open 24 hours for access to a full kitchen, living room, sitting room, office setup, laundry room and hot tub. There are snacks for guests (and their pups) out all the time, and a great fire pit with wood and fire starters which we used both nights of our stay. Property is an older site but insides are immaculate and cozily decorated.“

„Home was perfect for our extended family of 9. It is quiet, spacious, and very accommodating. Cooked fresh lobster every night we ate at the house and not out. Great little, non-touristy lobster pound called Hodgdon's Seafood, only minutes from the house. Everything we needed to make us feel at home is here. We loved that we could reach most places on our to-do list within half an hour. Although, we did travel 2.5 hours to white water raft on the Kennebec. So worth the trip! We also recommend ...

"Die Unterkunft ist in Ordnung. Allerdings riecht das Zimmer aufgrund des erneuerungswürdigen Teppichs stark. Das Bett ist gut, der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Allerdings wird das Zimmer nicht täglich gereinigt. Die Erreichbarkeit des Nationalparks ist sehr gut. "

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

"Die Zimmer sind veraltet und extrem ringhörig. Das Bett war extrem umbequem. Es gibt in der nähe kein Frühstücksangebot. Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."
