„We had such a nice time! It was a pre season (for the area) trip for work but everything was great! Cabins clean with every amenity we could have asked for! Comfy bed, good shower! All in a great stay! Very nice owner!“

„Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that ...

„We only had 3 days to visit the area. Our stay was very comfortable and convenient to Bar Harbor. We could walk the mile to town. Which was easier than trying to park dow there! Close to the entry to Acadia. Also appreciated the breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Everyone we ran across was very friendly.“

„This cottage was a pleasant change from the bustle of Bar Harbor. Although its small and cozy, it had what we needed for a short term stay. Barring a few check-in inconveniences, it was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the firepit that we spent time at after a long Acadia Park hiking adventure.“

„The host was very accommodating and friendly. We made a last minute change to our itinerary and they didn't skip a beat to work with us to adjust our stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend booking at Misty Mountain Retreat!“

„5 star accommodation to go along with a 5 star national park! Very clean and modern but with a campground feel as well as relaxing amenities at the wellness center. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit. “

„A wonderful lake house with terrific indoor and outdoor amenities. Enjoyed canoeing, fishing and the fire pit after a long day of hiking in Acadia National Park. Easy trip to and from the park. Very remote and private. Highly recommend!! “

„A great downtown Bar Harbor hub. Great access to all the downtown businesses. Comfy beds and linens. Well stocked kitchen affords a chance to eat in if wanted or visit one of multiple eateries or restaurants within walking distance of the unit. Lovely space to enjoy if needing to stay inside due to inclement weather. Close to everything Bar Harbor. Local grocer is a walk away. Laundry can be done in unit. “

„No contact from property manager or owner for requests , sheets had pubic hair from previous booking , I asked for new bedding and said I would change it myself, things happen I get it, dirt on the floor sticking to socks and feet, paper thin walls, unusable balcony, we left after only one night without communication from anyone to find a cheaper, bigger, much cleaner place, with much more privacy, “

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

"Die Zimmer sind veraltet und extrem ringhörig. Das Bett war extrem umbequem. Es gibt in der nähe kein Frühstücksangebot. Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."
