The good: The space was beautiful, and larger than I originally expected. When I walked in I was very pleasantly surprised and thrilled by the layout. The area was quiet, and walkable.
The bad:
They use codes for the door, and on my last night there someone who would be checking in after I left, was able to successfully use the exact same code and open the door. Luckily they were very kind, and we were all able to laugh about the mixup, but as a solo female traveler I cannot express how uncomfortable this made me the more it set in. Safety and security is not something that should be taken lightly, and this oversight was just too much to overlook. There was absolutely no reason for any other travelers to have the same code at the same time, and that responsibility is on the property managers. I did share this concern with them, but I do feel it’s my responsibility to share this with other female travelers.
