„Went on a mother/daughter getaway for our first time on Orcas Island. The location was great, a little more out in the woods, but only a short distance to the cute town of Eastsound. You can see the water from the porch and there is a waterfall right next to you that you can hear/see. There were people who stayed above us that you could easily hear walking/using the water but not too disruptive. The only item that wasn’t as advertised was we were missing a hair dryer. „We enjoyed it, but some constructive criticism. * The door keypad code should be shortened. A 10-digit code is ridiculous. I believe 4 or 5 is adequate and would eliminate much frustration. *We rented after reading an April review noting the primary shower was terrible. The plumbing fixtures are old and not functional. The owner replied that the problem would be fixed. Well, it was not, and my we had to endure a trickle shower. I used the guest bath, but my wife likes the privacy of her bath. ...

„The house is in a great location. The house is a little dated- appliances and decor. The house is listed at a premium rate due to the location but lacks other amenities such as updated appliances, bedding and WiFi. Watching the wildlife was the large living rooms windows was a great way to start and end the day. The largest bedroom that states it sleeps 5 has no heating source available and is very cold at night. “

„Everything from checking in to checking out was great. So many touches of a warm home to make my daughter and I feel like we were wrapped in a warm blanket. So many details from beach towels, to hot chocolate, to a popcorn maker and a book of great things to do in the area. Kitchen and bathroom were super clean with awesome shampoo.
