"This is a wonderful hotel in a great location in the Eastern Austrian Alpine region of Carinthia. This is one of the three or four best value and quality stays we have had at some 30 hotels during our recent two European travels. The only criticism is the absence of air conditioning which is really making itself felt in the current warm weather, not even an open door and window to the garden provide much relief. The layout in the first level rooms is terrific with a large sliding door from the sitting room area onto a balcony overlooking the green garden and the town centre a hundred metres in front. The higher level floors replace this feature with great views. My room on the first level is fitted out with a modern shower and bathroom, king size bed, lounge suite, refrigerator, safe and espresso coffee machine. My friend's room upstairs had a shower in the bathtub which is not the most desirable. The hotel’s bars and restaurants are good, an easily accessible car park is conveniently provided beneath the hotel."

"Kurztrip an den Mondsee mit dem Fahrrad. Zimmer war sehr sauber, Personal freundlich und das Frühstück mehr als ausreichend. Da war für jeden etwas dabei. Bei unserer Abreise bekamen wir sogar noch 2 Flaschen Wasser für die Heimreise."

"we stayed at the Hotel im Weissen Roessl in September 2026. We loved our stay. The Hotel is right in the pedestrian area and directly on the lake. The room is beautiful but the amenities like the heated pool, spa and direct access to the lake ensured we hardly stayed in the room. Breakfast is delicious and service is outstanding. The only thing which could be improved is to provide better information for people arriving by car. We got confused driving in the pedestrian area to unload the luggage and had to drive car back out to the car parking area which is outside the pedestrian zone. Ideal would be a shuttle for the luggage to the hotel from the parking area avoiding to have to drive into the pedestrian only zone."

"Post am See war eins unserer Highlights bei unserem Österreich Urlaub und unsere Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Super schönes kleines Hotel, direkt am See. Sehr herzlicher Service. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und anschließend die Möglichkeit, sich in einem kleinen, aber sehr schönen Wellnessbereich zu erholen. Die Restaurants sind gut. Beim Abendessen passen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz, dafür ist die Auswahl beim Frühstück unschlagbar gut. Neben den gängigen Dingen gab es eine riesige Auswahl an Aufstrichen, Rohkost, eingeletem Gemüse & Fisch. Wir kommen definitiv wieder."
