„Real comfy place to stay. Full kitchens with all the utensils and cups and pans, so you can bring your own food and cook. Log burning fireplace for a real fire in the cabins. Grounds needed to be cleaned up, but I guess the resort just reopened to the public after housing ski resort employees. Those employees need to clean better, the gal the runs the place was completely overwhelmed and I felt sorry for her. “

„We couldn't have been happier with our decision to stay at Marilyn's beautiful cabin in Tavern Bay! The 3 bedrooms, all with comfortable Queen beds, allowed each of our 3 couples the privacy when they needed it. But most of the fun was had enjoying the gorgeous lake view out on the deck over coffee in the morning (so quiet and serene) while the birds had breakfast on the birdfeeder. „This is a very nice little cabin that is close to shopping and dining. Easy walk down to the shops and the restaurants. The hot tub was amazing and the fenced in backyard was a huge plus. The only thing that didn’t work that we wished it did was the TV in the master bedroom. We like to lay in bed and watch TV in the evenings and morning but we’re unable to because the tv wasn’t getting a cable signal. Definitely not a dealbreaker, though, we would definitely stay there again.“

„The cabin is super cozy with many nice details. Well equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The road sign and some of the cabins look a little worn and do t let in how nice the inside is. Beds are quite soft. All in all great little place.“

Of course we also love the ease of checking in, the well stocked kitchen, and San Clemente in general. Seems to us that SC is a little less touristy than beach towns north and south. Great restaurants, great vibe. We even went to the old mission at San Juan Capistrano! We will definitely rent here again.“

„Very clean well kept property. Furniture shown in listing for family area is different from what is actually there. And what was there wasn’t as comfortable as what was in the pictures. Everything you would need was provided. Bedding was lovely. Bathroom was downstairs to both bedrooms and stairs were very steep.“

„Overall, this day was OK. It would have been nice to have firewood upon arrival and a few extra towels. The shower curtain was also put on wrong and it did get the floor very wet so we had to use wet towels we had to dry the floor. The toilet also has issues flushing. It takes several several minutes for it to fill back up to be able to flush again.“
