„Excellent communications before we arrived. We were a family of 5, nice small touches; fresh fruit, milk, coffee etc. Rooms were clean, tidy and modern. Parking also a bonus. Really recommend.“

„This is a wonderful place to stay. It has a car park at the rear and 3 parking spots at the front. It is very secure with a personal PIN provided before book in for the doors. Very clean and smart. Big comfy bed in room 6 anyway. Nice little kitchenette. Fridge, kettle, coffee machine. Lovely shower. If I had to pick fault it would be the awful washing up liquid. „Howarth House really is the hidden gem on the Fylde Coast. Our room was cozy, spotlessly clean and very peaceful. The members of the team at this guest house are extremely friendly and put much love into everything they do. You will not find a better breakfast anywhere in the UK! I can highly recommend this delightful place.“

„Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.“

„The parking was easy outside after 6pm and we were gone by 9am so the restrictions were not an issue. Breakfast was great and the room was very well presented and clean. We have stayed in St Anne’s at the hotel many times and always found the team to be very helpful. Would recommend to anyone.“

Couldnt use two of the pillows as they smelt mouldy and were dirty cases Our room (101) came with two keys, one for room and one for front door which was explained, however our door couldnt lock. „Really pleased we booked this hotel. Room with 2 double beds was lovely for 2 11year old girls and 1 adult. Room was spotless and clean throughout the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, at check in, breakfasts and check out. Complimentary breakfast in the booking price was excellent, plenty of choice. Location was a good 10-15 minute walk to the South Pier, which we didn’t mind. “

Die Kakerlake im Bett war „der“ Punkt, der den schlechten ersten Eindruck des Hotels nur bestätigte. Der Preis, den wir für die Übernachtungen zahlten, rechtfertigt niemals das Angebot. „Nice and warm room for the night, a little small but that was for the cheapest room so only to be expected. And I'm a giant, if you're normal sized you'll be fine :-) Always nice to visit a proper hotel with reception, bar / restaurant staff etc rather than some converted terrace. Top brekky too.“
