Elegante 100 qm-Wohnung im Barockstil in einem historischen Gebäude im Herzen von Rom. Das Colonna Apartment besteht aus 2 Schlafzimmern, 2 Badezimmern, einer kleinen Küche und einem geräumigen und gemütlichen Wohnzimmer.

Unsere Wohnung wird der Ausgangspunkt Ihrer Reise durch die Vergangenheit, die Gegenwart und die Zukunft der Ewigen Stadt sein. Die Wohnung ist mit Klimaanlage (nur im Wohnzimmer), Heizung und Internet ausgestattet. Reinigungsservice und Koch zu Hause auf Anfrage.

Unsere in einem Märchenkontext eingesetzte Wohnung wird Sie durch eine Reise in die Vergangenheit führen: in diesem historischen Gebäude residierten nämlich einmal die Adeligen, in deren großen Sälen die Feste von Prinzen und Prinzessinnen veranstaltet wurden, in deren Ecken versteckte man sich für verbotene Küsse. Hier ist die Zeit stehen geblieben: Ohne große Anstrengung der Phantasie fühlt man sich Teil einer Welt, die nicht mehr existiert! Rom im Oktober

Mitten in Rom und doch ruhig. Verwinkeltes Appartment in altem Palazzo mit Liebe und Phantasie ausgestattet. Treppen nur für nicht Gehbehinderte. Große Terrasse zum Innehof gut zu benutzen. Sehr nette/r Concierge. Haus wohl behütet. Wir 4 Personen haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wieder hingehen.

Beste Lage aber katastophaler Zustand

An Mitarbeiter und Service habe ich nichts auszusetzen. Die Übergabe des Schlüssel klappte reibungslos und Michela war ausgesprochen nett und gab uns in sehr gutem Englisch viele nützliche Tipps. Es gibt in Rom wahrscheinlich keine bessere Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind innerhalb einer viertel Stunde fußläufig zu erreichen. Leider entsprechen die wirklich schönen Bilder in keinster Weise den momentanen Zustandes der Wohnung. Diese ist mehr als renovierungsbedürftig und die Reinigung war mangelhaft. Trotz Technikkentnissen war es uns nicht möglich dem Fernseher auch nur ein einziges deutschspachiges Programm zu entlocken. Da wir bei 38 Grad Außentemperatur in Rom waren, empfanden wir es als großes Manko, dass es nur im Wohnraum ein Klimagerät gibt. Im oberen Schlafzimmer mit Fenster zum Innenhof, fiel die Temperatur auch Nachts nicht unter 30 Grad. Wir würden diese Wohnung auf keinen Fall noch einmal buchen.

Die schmutzigste Wohnung überhaupt

eine perfekte Lage, aber auch alles, es entspricht auch gar nichts der Bilder im Internet, eine sehr abgewohnte und schmutzige Wohnung, mit super steile Treppe auch zum zweiten OG, nur eine Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer, für August ein no go, ansonsten netter Kontakt und ruhig gelegen, da gibt es besseres

Alles sehr sauber und auf Grund der guten Lage ist alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben die Tage hier sehr genossen! Die Übergabe hat reibungslos geklappt uns Carolina hat neben der Übergabe auch noch sehr gute Tipps zur Umgebung gegeben. Also von a bis z sehr empfehlenswert!

This property is in an absolutely fabulous location. No less than 10 police rotated the area at all times because of its proximity to government offices across the square. Most major historic sites are more or less within walking distance. This apartment is older and there are stairs, so it’s not for everyone, but the location is amazing, it’s clean, and its safe, so I will definitely stay here again. Marta, is a great property manager and answered every text immediately. Wonderful experience.

Excellent location

I was traveling with my 3 adult daughters, location was a top priority. This location was perfect, not only could we walk to all the “must sees” in Rome, it is also surrounded by great shopping and restaurants. Big plus, the cafe directly next door, which we stopped at every morning. The listing indicates 2 queen beds and a double sofa bed, but what we found was 2 double beds, one single and one sofa bed. This worked for us, but having to use the sofa bed made for very little space for us to relax after a long day of sightseeing, and the blankets thrown over the banquettes never stayed in place, so overall it lacked the comfy/cozy atmosphere the photos show. The AC unit worked well, we appreciated the fans also provided as it was warmer than we expected for October. There was considerable mold in both showers, but hot water was plentiful.

Great Location/Classic Roman Apartment

We stayed for four nights with our 13 and 16 year old granddaughters. The location was perfect for getting to everything and there was a great little coffee/gelato shop right out the courtyard door! The stairs up to the main floor and the second floor bedroom are killers to get luggage up and down but we got through it.

The property is located within short walking distances to all the major sites except for the Vatican. Absolutely enjoyed the quirkiness of the apartment. Such a wonderful location, 2 min walking to Trevi fountain and pantheon. The heart of the city for sure. Marta was a gem. So patient with us. Hardly in the apartment except for at night. The one bedroom with the red paint behind the bed is on the 2nd floor and those step are steep. Just an FYI. Lovely, would stay again.

Definitely one of our most memorable stays! The location of this property is unbelievable - walk out the door to look at the Marcus Aurelius column from 400 AD. Steps to the Trevi fountain, Colosseum in one direction, Pantheon and Spanish steps in the other direction. The property might not be for everyone - it is quirky and fun and very comfortable, and the upstairs bedroom is definitely bougie. Marta was absolutely fantastic - great host and helped us arrange transit to/from train station, very helpful in Rome. Lovely porter at the property, coffee shop just next door, endless selection of restaurants and treats just steps away, but the property is very private and quiet. We loved our stay here!

Good but not great sadly :(

I’m going to start off with the positives of this place: It was an amazing location, so central to so much of the tourist locations! Marta was very helpful and prompt with her responses to us. The rooms were very spacious and the apartment itself was really unique and cool! It was nice that the apartment had an AC unit. Now for the not so great things: One of the main reasons we booked this apartment was because it had two bathrooms. However what was not disclosed was that when it rains, the upstairs bathroom smells like a sewage plant. The upstairs bathroom was completely unusable for most of our stay because of the rain. If we had known this we would’ve booked elsewhere. The bathroom shower upstairs also was broken. However it was quickly fixed so that was a positive. All four of us shared the bathroom downstairs, there was one functioning light bulb in that bathroom and it went out. So the bathroom was completely dark and we had to move a lamp into it to be able to use it. The WiFi does not work at all upstairs and barely works in the rest of the apartment. I believe the bathroom situation upstairs should’ve been disclosed because that really did negatively affect our trip. Hope this review helps!

Safe, quiet, central stay.

Family of 6 staying in Rome within walking distance of many major tourist locations. Property manager was very helpful, booked us a shuttle from the airport and gave us some information about the area. Dwelling was clean. Entrance is within a parking courtyard so street noise is not heard. Secure location. Steep stairs in the home, not a problem for us. Only complaint is that the Wi-Fi was not working. Contacted manager who stated she would talk to the homeowners but I then heard nothing more. The building blocks cellular signal so we had to stand by the window to get a few bars of service. Also, air conditioning is on the main level but does not reach the upper bedroom. Could be very hot up there, we stayed in October so it was not unbearable.

First of all the positives. Location was excellent, with most of the major tourist sites, easily walkable from the apartment. That’s it really. The stairs from the front door to the main floor are ridiculously steep and you will have to bend as you pull up them otherwise you will hit your head on the ceiling. Bad as the stairs are, the stairs from the main floor to the upstairs bedroom are even worse. They are narrow, twisty, and if you are anything over 5 feet tall, you will be bent nearly double as you come down them. I would say they are actually dangerous. Anyone who has any mobility issues at all could not manage either set of stairs. The kitchen is too small to be any practical use, not even room for an oven. The air conditioning is only on the main room and the two bedrooms have fans. All fans do is move hot air about. The lowest temperature we could get the bedroom on the main floor too was 27 centigrade, and the lowest in the upper bedroom 30 centigrade. They were unbearable to sleep in. The Wi-Fi is terrible only really working in one room. Can’t say we had a pleasant stay in this property.

Great location

This property is in an amazing location if you are visiting Rome for tourism. Very close to the Trevi and Pantheon. Right by a taxi station and metro. Also above a delightful café. We visited in July 2023, and it was very hot in Rome. The AC is only in the living room and we were provided one small portable fan. The master is upstairs. The master is accessed by a very tight spiral staircase and is untouched be the air conditioning. We had our family sleep on the couch in the living room instead. If you are tall you will need to watch where you walk since the ceilings are curved. So beware! Overall the apartment location is amazing. And the interior was comfortable when the weather outside allowed.

Great location. Rome is very walkable if you are in walking shape. This is right downtown, where you can find a restaurant just through an alley. The stairs up are a venture for those that have a harder time walking and carrying things. They werent an issue for us. But i can see how they could be for others.

The Colonna apartment is fantastically situated and our check in Manager Marta was hugely helpful with transfers and throughout our stay. The apartment is charming and easily accommodated our family of four - there are steep & low staircases so tall people and those with limited mobility should take care/inquire ahead. We were walking distance to all the beauty of Rome! It was a very pleasant stay!

L'appartement est très bien placé et au calme. Les pièces sont grandes mais dans l'ensemble assez sombres. La clim est disponible uniquement dans le living. Les équipements sont vieux (la clim, les douches, une chaise a un pied cassé, ...) et en nombre limité (5 chaises, 5 fourchettes, la cafetière est prévue pour 3, etc... sachant que l'appartement peut accueillir 6 personnes). L'annonce est donc quelque peu trompeuse.

Central part of Rome-location is key

The best part of this apartment is the location as many have mentioned before. The space itself is not child friendly (my son fell down the stairs) and has very hard floors and broken bricks. If you are over 6 feet tall, you will repeatedly smack your head on the entry-way doors and the shower. There is no real kitchen, you will have to eat out if you want to stay there. I was told we could check in early (at 3!) but the place was not cleaned and we awkwardly had the cleaner clean around us as my 2 kids passed out from exhaustion. The AC is only in the living room, making the bedrooms quite hot, but there are fans. The porter is an elderly man who is helpful if you speak Italian. We had a great time because we were so centrally located but I think it's a really expensive place for what you get.
