Not recommendable!!!
The arrival at the hotel was easy to manage, but then the first surprise was that the hotel was actually a guest house and we were allocated one room. The so called "breakfast" were pre-packed buns and some sweet croissants lying on the desk. Butter was in the fridge and no cuttlery in the room.
Before arrival I asked my italian colleague to confirm the details of the room via phone, incl. the presence of a hairdryer. The owner of this guest house confirmed that there is a hairdryer, but there was none.
The first night came and we still did not receive our cuttlery.
Anyhow the next morning we realised that the double bed is infested with bed bugs and the sheet showed spotty stains of blood and dead bugs on the sheet. Calling the guest house owner was not successful. He said "Oh!" and never called me back or left a message in the room.
Returning to the guest room, we expected the room to be cleaned by now or at least some cleaning must have been done. This was not the case because on day 2 my skin started to develop skin reactions where the bugs have stung me and some more live bugs. Me and my husband were mostly affected by this. I am lucky that the kids were not stung. On the last day when we handed over the keys I explained and showed my skin reactions all over my arms and legs, but again no reaction. I will visit the dermatlogist, coz I am still suffering.
I am still waiting for an explanation and a callback from Expedia Customer Service and the refund of this booking.
