„We loved how it was near both the hot springs and the beach. The fireplace kept us warm and made the night feel extra cosy.“

„Accommodation was great. Nice and quiet surroundings. Kayaks were included in the price. Well equipped. Only towels and linen you needed to bring. It depends on the people who used it before if there is soap and rubbish bags, etc. available or not. Fruit trees to use :) Fast and good comminication with the host.“

„We had a wonderful time here - great spot to explore and enjoy Matakana, visit the markets and Brick Bay. The house was spotless and the owner was very responsive to questions. Loads of fun had by all thanks! “

„Kawau Bay Beach House has everything you need. Near to the beach, beautiful holiday home, clean, cozy, warm furnishing and a wonderful landlord. We were here for a few days and would have preferred to stay. It was perfect here. Your hospitality was the best of it. Thank you Martin for this wonderful stay. Sophie and Patrick“

„A great wee Bach with everything we needed.Very comfy beds, clean and lovely and warm with fireplace and heatpump.Well equipped kitchen and great communication and instructions.Great location - Bethells is stunning with beautiful beach and lake walks . We alsoEnjoyed the coffee caravan and the Farmers Shop (Sat 10-4) for lovely fresh produce and arts and crafts . Thank you Lyn “

„Very affordable accommodation option on the coast, walking distance to the beach, on a bus route and close to amenities. Everything is provided so just bring your clothes and food and you're all set. Definitely an option to consider if you're looking for somewhere family-friendly to stay.“

„Amazing location! The beach is almost at your doorstep. This made it very easy to hop on our paddle boards many times a day. Shallow waters and the lovely sand bars were perfect for toddlers and kids. The spa was a slight let down. Likely not much use, not easy to access and not clean. Thankfully the ocean was amazing and we had great weather!“

„We had a lovely stay. A private, secluded haven in the bush, just a short drive from Bethells beach. Very new, modern accomodation with a beautiful outlook onto bush and the valley beyond. The check in process was seamless.It could benefit from having a microwave, and the television didn't appear to work (not that we were desperate to watch tv in such a nice location). “
