Great windows (and blinds) to view the ocean from Twin Rocks to Cape Falcon. The Beach is off back lawn but 15 ft down rock riprap protecting shoreline. The public beach access is one house over but there, the rocks are just layered as steps. No landary. No dishwasher so wished I'd brought paper plates and disposable silverware. Fabulous knives but kitchen was otherwise adequate but showing age: hole in countertop and refrigerator had self broken off the door and drawer busted. Microwave was tiny and so high; everytime opened the door it scape the shelf it was on. Dining table and chairs where falling appart and we had to be very careful with them. Surprising how clean it felt even though flooring is over 50 years old and showing wear. Replacing flooring from family room through to kitchen in single continuous flooring would go a long way to elevate the aesthetics and comfront. Lastly the heat pump didn’t work, as had been stated by other reviews, but electric wall units in bedrooms and bathroom room helped along with the substitute oil-fillied portable radiator - it just took a few days to get house warm. All that said this is not for everyone but we had a wonderful time and would stay there again; hopeful to find a few things fixed.
