Dies ist ein wunderbares Haus, perfekt für den Familienurlaub. Gelegen in einer ruhigen und freundlichen Nachbarschaft, nur 3 Blocks, mit einfachem Zugang zum Strand! Genießen Sie Angeln und Krabben in Garibaldi. Je nach Saison können Sie dort auch frischen Grundfisch, Lachs und Krabben kaufen !! Das Haus verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer. Das erste mit einem neuen Doppelbett und das zweite mit einem Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten. Ein Rollbett und ein Schlafsofa stehen zur Verfügung, wenn mehr Betten benötigt werden. Eine Waschmaschine und Trockner im Hauswirtschaftsraum ist praktisch, wenn zu viel Kleidung am Strand schmutzig wird. Die Küche ist mit Besteck, Porzellan, Reiskocher, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle und Toaster ausgestattet. Das Haus wurde kürzlich innen und außen gestrichen. Das Haus verfügt über Kabel-TV, einen DVD-Player, eine Vielzahl von Video-Filmen, WI-FI und Brettspiele im Schrank.
Eine schöne Terrasse auf der Rückseite ist perfekt zum Entspannen an warmen Abenden. Ein Holzkohlegrill sorgt für Grillen im Freien.

Checked out early

I booked a quick get away for my 2 teens and myself for spring break. We booked for 2 nights, arrived after dark Monday night to a very hot musty smelling house, and feeling like I stepped into the 60's as far as the furniture. I turned off the heat and opened all windows for circulation. I was hoping with the alleged short walk to the beach to head out quickly while boys were sleeping. It's 2 blocks to main intersection then 2 blocks over. Arrived back at house, turn on lights and notice ants. Not only were they trailing up the wall to the window in the family room, they were on the bedside table in master and a few had hopped onto the bed, and also in the other bedroom. Between the ants and no functioning microwave, (I got away from home to rest and not cook) we left a day early. Now, I'm attempting to get partially reimbursed for the night we did not stay, VRBO is telling me the host told VRBO their cleaning lady gave me ant traps and spray. I don't think any more words are needed to summarize the hassle booking with this host has caused me. Our quick 2 night get away ended after one night and back to Portland it was. I have occasional ants in my own property, weather dependent and extra rain pushed them in.. but in my sheets? That's how bad they were. We would not recommend staying in this dated musty not the cleanest property

I would like to own the house

I really liked staying at the property. It was easy to get to only two blocks off of the main highway. The house was laid out nicely there was plenty of room and we had everything that we needed and it even had a 65 inch TV I was impressed. I have been to Rockaway Beach before and stayed at other places and the location of this house was perfect for me to go to all my favorite places. I would love to stay at this place again.

Great location for our purpose

Stayed 3 nights. Needed a central location for hiking south and north. Near the main "strip" (my daughter and I walked to it one evening) and beach. Beautiful beach. The house was comfortable. It's a beach house so make sure you come well stocked. There was very little in the fridge in terms of staples as well as dry goods. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this was the most limited. As well as bathroom staples. It was just a minor thing but note that.Unfortunately, it was not the cleanest VRBO on arrival (and we stay at a lot). There was hair in the tub and it just didn't seem like a cleaning crew came through. We are very low maintenance so it was no big deal. Overall, I would recommend the property

Fair Price for the great location and nothing fancy house

We were happy with the cleanliness of this little house. It was the accommodation we needed to enjoy the coast affordably. Nothing fancy but there were loads of movies. We spent most of the time walking the beach and the nature boardwalk. Unfortunately the house is struggling with ants—I only saw a few while we were there but they got into our clothing bags in the bedroom and we brought some home.

Needs new furniture, but nice neighborhood and close to the beach.

This house is fine if you know what you're getting. We stayed with our family of 5 looking for somewhere close to the beach and central enough for day trips. The good: It's a short walk to the beach. We took advantage of this several times. Rockaway beach is a cute town with restaurants and grocery stores. Overall it's pretty clean and in a quiet neighborhood. They have a good selection of movies and games for if you get a rainy day during your trip The bad: The furniture is terrible. The couch has no back support at all. It needs to be replaced. The beds in the second bedroom are old and uncomfortable. If you only have kids sleeping there it will be ok. I slept in the bed because the kids got scared at night and it was bad. Every time you move the bed cracks and creaks.

Wonderful stay for Rockaway Beach

We stayed here over the July 4th holiday, and loved the location and property. This is further south than the rest of the town, so if you want to walk to shops, it's a longer hike, but still doable. There's plenty to do and see in the area, and the beach is so close and beautiful. The house was comfortable for the four of us, and we're excited to return someday soon!

Great beach get away

This cottage is just a couple of blocks from the beach. Not crowded, not much else to do. This was great for taking the kids for a beach weekend and collecting all the shells they could carry.

The place was clean

Upon entering the home I did a brief inspection I noticed that the toilet did not flush very well and the hand towel rack next to the toilet was slightly askew so I made sure everyone in my party did not hang anything on it in fear that it would fall off and I did not have the necessary tools to fix said problem the shower is a little funky a new showerhead that is regular needs to be installed the barbecue was very nice the deck is very nice and clean it’s a bit of a hassle trying to back a boat into the driveway which is long enough but the streets are so narrow That you have to do a 10 point turn around to get the boat in there

Comfortable and clean, however we have been charged $150.00 cleaning fee but we were instructed, ‘for the safety of the cleaning staff’ to strip the beds and wash and dry the bedding (including the blankets) before departure and to run any dishes through the dishwasher. I am pretty sure $150.00 would cover the cost of the cleaning staff to complete this task.

Needs Some Decent furniture

Garbage needed emptied.Toliet wouldn't flush very well, and broken towel rack, besides funky shower to get water. They need some decent furniture, bed springs on the twin poke through.Front room recliner chair is a joke,and couch has a broken back. Upgrading needing. Extra fees charged are ridiculous.

Perfect vacation

Rockaway Beach is a gem along the Oregon Coast. Friendly people, not a lot of people. Great food. House was neat and clean. Check out instructions not really clear but we did our best. Definitely a top candidate for a return visit. Thank you.

Lovely visit!

We really enjoyed being at this lovely little house again! The open layout of the living room, dining room and kitchen help it feel more spacious. The little deck out back is nice. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable. The couch-bed in the living room needs to be replaced; the mattress is not in good shape and very uncomfortable.
