„Our dogs loved the yard and home comfort of the cabin. Very close to quite a few waterfalls, the harbor and the Copper Peak ski jump. Awesome to bike from to all those spots or hike. Highly recommend if you have dogs. Sad we didn't get to try the pub next door, but we will next time!“

„Came up to the UP for a weekend ski trip and this year despite the lack of snow had a good day of skiing at Snow River in sweatshirts! The campfire Lodge was perfect for our family of 6. The bedrooms are close together upstairs, which is fine for a family and great to have two bathrooms. The kitchen is very nice and the dining area was great for playing cards. „We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!“

„We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. Host is always available and you can communicate with him at any time. The internet is very good for any remote workers or gamers, you will be just fine. „Loved our getaway up north. We rented a boat from a resort nearby and spent lots of time enjoying the water. We had one problem the first evening, and the hosts were very responsive and took care of the issue in a timely manner. The upstairs shower needs some attention because the hot and cold water tabs are reversed. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend you give it a try.“

„The unit was just as listed and worked out well for us on our ski trip. The unit is in what use to be a resort & conference center that is no longer operating. All the common spaces could use some TLC. The unit itself had everything we needed and the pull out couch was even comfortable. We did struggle with the lock box and the loft was quite warm. „Our stay was amazing. It started out with an unmade bed which lead to the realization that I made the reservation for the wrong night and we had gone into the house a day early. „The chalet was exactly as advertised. There is plenty of room for everyone. We liked that there were plenty of extra supplies that people normally forget (tinfoil, garbage bags, etc.). The Nintendo and ping pong table kept the kids busy. The one negative is that the cabin echoes A LOT. You can definitely hear whomever wakes up first. That, though, would not keep us from coming back.“
