„The unit takes up the entire second floor of a beautifully renovated historic home. Furnishings are excellent. The bed in the master bedroom is really comfortable, and with cross breezes no a/c is needed. The Mission Hills neighborhood is very quiet, yet centrally located to everything San Diego has to offer. Although the unit is in a residential area, it is within walking distance to several shops, restaurants, etc. The host is very nice and made us feel warmly welcomed. “

„Loved this location, steps from beautiful La Jolla beach and an easy walk to shops and food. Great parking and boys caught the bus to UCSD (most stayed in the dorms but we used the garage for robot repairs). Kitchen/outdoor grill were great for eating in, along with large dining area. Lots of room for everyone. This home absolutely made our trip. Boys lost in the finals to Virginia Tech but they did get to start their day playing beach volleyball. “

„This was a wonderful property! My husband, our daughter, and I spent several days and found it to be a wonderful base for exploring the area. The neighborhood is convenient to the freeway but very quiet, with local markets and good BBQ. The unit itself is clean and comfortable, and was a great place to relax in between adventures. „This property was everything and more as described in the posting. We recently had a large group of friends together for the weekend. Everything was fantastic - The pool, hot tub, accessibility/location, sleeping arrangements, etc. The owner stayed communicative throughout our entire stay and was extremely accomodating and kept the property maintained and clean.I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great week/weekend.“

„We actually live in San Diego, but wanted a staycation somewhere that wasn't our own house - and this house was perfect for us. It's the perfect size for a family, and the pool and deck were exactly what we needed. The pseudo-separate studio was ideal for us to escape the teenagers and feel like we had something on our own. We also had fun exploring downtown La Mesa, which is quaint and has lots to do. All in all, just what we needed. “

„Julie war sehr zuvorkommend und sehr bemüht, alles ordentlich zu übergeben. Daher stehen die positiven Aspekte klar im Vordergrund. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig (in dieser Jahreszeit, wenn man nachts keine Klimaanlage benötigt). Diese war extrem laut, so das wir diese zum Glück nachts nicht einschalten brauchten. Die Matratzen der 3 Betten waren sehr weich und durchgelegen und müssten dringend erneuert werden. Alles in Allem war es aber OK.“

„This was the perfect place for our family mini-vacation! Check in & check out was very easy. It was just as the review stated located just a short walk to transit system, near beaches, sea world & quiet street. The home was very pleasant with 3 bedrooms, roll bed & 2 bathrooms. Nice little kitchen with gas stove, nice oven, Mr Coffee drip pot but Starbucks was an enjoyable walk for morning coffee. Nice stacked Washer & Dryer was centrally located & quiet. We enjoyed the 5 minute fireworks show ...

Traveled with 3 other bysiness associates, so having 4 separate rooms was a huge plus and rare find.Communication with host was easy, prompt, and clear.Parking in the driveway with a full-size truck was a challenge, so we parked on the street. Car or small SUV would have no issues.Putt-putt golf course in backyard was entertaining.“

„We had an amazing experience at the Pelican. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and clean and parking was simple. We were within walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. But the best was the patio! We watched the sunset every night. Our host checked in with us consistently and was readily available for questions. “
