„We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out. Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day. We couldn’t fault our stay and would highly recommend House 41 to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely return if we’re in the ...

„Man fühlt sich wie in einem großen Privathaus. Den Gästen stehen in Haus u. Garten neben den Zimmern viele Räumlichkiten zur Verfügung, wo man lesen u. entspannen kann.“

„Stayed here 5 nights.. everything was good except there is no air conditioning; only a fan in the room and England was going through a heat wave. There is also no food offerings at this property and the pub next door only serves breakfast on weekends. It's not in a central location but otherwise the property was clean and beds were comfortable“

„Lovely staff and comfy bed, We were late for breakfast but the were still happy to serve us. The pub has recently been under new management so they are busy with improvements. Would happily return,“

„Yes everything was spot on“

„Sehr malerisch mit netten Gastgebern“

„Das Hotel ist sehr schön. Der Willkommensgruß war toll und sehr lecker. Leider konnten wir das Fenster kaum öffnen. Es war sehr heiß im Zimmer. Tolles Restaurant und schöner Biergarten. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.“

„Lage, Personal und Gebäude machen dieses Hotel zu einem hervorragenden Ziel für Familien mit Kindern.“

„That is how you imagine a good british hotel when coming from the continent. We stayed 2 nights as family. Has an old style character, but the rooms we had were renovated. Dinner, Teatime and Breakfast were good, we enjoyed it. Also the sourrounding is very nice, the kids loved the peacocks. The pool was ok, the dressing rooms was a little bit of outdated, but it seems that there are renovations ongoing. All in all a recommendation, if we would be in that area again, we would definitly come ...

„Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit sehr gutem Frühstück“

„Lovely warm and cosy room. Very comfortable. Just want you want when planning a trip to the area with the changing seasons. Great location for Downley Hill walks, West Wycombe and Princes Risborough, Aylesbury, Thames and Oxford. Nice helpful and obliging receptionist Narinder and the smiley guy whose name I cannot remember. Thanks, and see you again soon. 😃“

„Geräumiges Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, hundefreundlich, verkehrsgünstig. Englisches Frühstück. Hafermilch wäre noch besser gewesen. Sonst alles top.“
