Our family of 6 had a wonderful week! We had three different rooms, all in Family Selection. In my opinion it's definitely worth the extra money to stay in Family Selection. Check in is so simple as this section has its own entrance/ lobby. You are provided with your own family butler, who can answer any questions, call bell boys, make dinner reservations for you, or arrange a taxi to wherever you may want to go (we actually ubered quite a bit it's much cheaper). Family selection has its own pool, which we didn't use much but the snack bar and restaurant right there are great. We found the main pool to be a lot more fun - get seats early or you won't have one all day! Rooms are great and actually quite spacious. The beach is gorgeous, there's a swimmable area which is nice and many tide pools surrounding which we loved to be able to see all the sea creatures. The bar down on the beach is very convenient. The food - for an all inclusive the food is very good. We especially liked the Nest and Portofino. We didn't get to try Adelita or Bamboo since we wanted to eat in town a few times. The kids LOVED the 24/7 room service as well as the Xtra Time sports bar. They have a a kids area with Xbox, pool , ping Also basketball court and pickleball / tennis. What really sets this resort apart is the customer service - it's truly top notch . All of the staff are fantastic and go out of their way to be friendly. Beautiful grounds .

Nuestra experiencianen Palladium Family Selection fue muy buena, el hotel super bonito, limpio y el.servicio increible, fue una gran sorpresa el.servicio de concierge o mayordomo. Eliutt nos trato super bien, siempre al pendiente de nuestras necesidades y pronto para ayudarnos. El.servicio de spa que nos dieron como cortesia fue otra gran sorpresa que estuvo increible, uno de los mejores masajes que he tenido. La playa preciosa, los servicios de kayak y paddle muy buenos e incluidos con nuestro paquete fueron excelentes. Los.cuartos muy limpios y con buen mantenimiento, solo.cambiaria el bote de basura del baño, pero de ahi en fuera, todo muy bien. Muchas gracias!

EVERYTHING stood out! Above all, the staff -- the family buttlers. Starting even before the trip started - our family "Buttler" contacted us way in advance, asked for some info and by the we arrived we were greeted with a totally customized welcome package. The kind, probative service continued until the moment we left the resort. Absolutely recommended.

🚨No regresaría! Habitación 7/10 muebles viejos, toallas viejas Servicios (albercas, agua en la habitación) 5/10, un día no hubo agua caliente en la habitación. Las albercas no funcionaba la calefacción, alegando que hacía 2 días se había descompuesto, el jacuzzi no funcionaba tampoco. Solo había 11 tablitas boogie botada, para todo el hotel. Ubicacion: 0/10 a la playa no te puedes meter porque está llena de piedras y rocas. Y en el mini pedazo de que te puedes meter, está lleno de gente. Comida: 4/10 no le echan ganas, comida simple y mal hecha, la salsa de los nachos parecía caldo. Los buffets horribles. No había ni miel de maple para los hotcakes!! Inaudito en un hotel que dice contar con 5 estrellas. Ambiente: considerando que es un hotel familiar, deja mucho que desear. Gimnasio: horrible, aparatos viejísimos y sin mantenimiento. En general una pobre experiencia. La gente se esforzaba después de que hablábamos con ellos, pero pues no es el caso, debería de estar bien desde un inicio. No considero que sea un hotel 5 estrellas. Maximo 3, deberían de cambiar la calificación para que el cliente no se sienta engañado porque además las fotos que publican deben de ser de hace unos 20 años, no reflejan la realidad y eso puede llegar a ser frustrante cuando te imaginas unas vacaciones que están muy lejos de ser reales.

Had a great stay at family selection. Highly recommend the family selection side in stead of grand palladium. We had a butler, Elliott, who was amazing and he went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met. The pool server, Carlos, was one of the hardest working person I have ever met. He made our pool days fantastic by ensuring drinks were always available and food readily accessible. The room service could use some work as they didn’t answer to take our order one evening and the wait times to receive food was 90 minutes on one occasion. Rooms were clean, little dated but overall I would recommend. Bus stops right outside the resort for easy access to downtown puerto Vallarta.

Staff was incredible, lots of activities for the kids and the family pool and beach are top notch. Only complaint is the food isn’t that good, one restaurant called The Nest is by far the best for breakfast and lunch, Buffett was horrible. Service and everything else makes up for it though!

The room was very well maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout our stay. The butler service was exceptional. Every request we made was handled promptly, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. Most importantly, all the staffs demonstrated genuine professionalism, friendliness, and a strong commitment to service excellence. Elliut was an excellent concierge from beginning to end. Going above and beyond to make our dad's birthday special with decorations. He was so patient and our big group tried to decide about dinner reservations and help to make our requests happen. our room was kept very clean and all staff were kind and helpful. Food was delicious and so many options?

Great hotel has everything you need. High end restaurants but you don’t have to worry about the bill. I enjoyed all restaurants. Great atmosphere, family oriented. My concierge was Eliutt he was great. He made our stay very enjoyable and we were very happy. We were treated with kindness. I have visited different all inclusive hotels some a little more expensive and others less expensive but this one is the best of all. The concierge’s supervisor was very beginning. They even let you enjoy installations before they have your room ready and you can also check out late, enjoying all the amenities and your luggage can stay in the lobby. I recommend the family selection you won’t regret.

Our stay was good overall but we really didn’t find the food at some of the restaurants very flavourful. I was disappointed with the Bamboo, Italian and the Mexican. There were some good things on each menu but nothing that would make us want to return. The service and the staff were excellent at the resort and we had no complaints with how friendly and welcoming they were. The Nest & the International were our favourites but sometimes the food was inconsistent and not always hot. Drinks were good but I found the bar ran out of certain things often & we would have to order something else. Also, the coffee bar in the Family Selection only opened at 11 am and there were no instructions on how to use the equipment so we never went back. The resort was a good size for our family and we enjoyed the spa and my kids loved having room service. The rooms were a good size but a little outdated and with 2 teenagers the pull out bed was too small. I had asked our Expedia rep about options and the manager was supposed to contact me but that never happened. For these reasons we would likely not return to this resort.

Resort is great. Can tell it’s older, but every single day someone was working on maintenance things like painting, etc. Great to see. Family Selection side was totally worth the upgrade. The pool was so much quieter and access to The Nest made meal times calm and relaxed as opposed to trying to get to the buffet before a rush. Elioot was one of our butlers and was fantastic. Having the Butlers book al la carte restaurants meant we had one booked every night we were there. Japanese and Mexican were highlights. Mexican was my kids favorite as they made fresh guacamole right at your table. Kids club activities weren’t communicated about well at all but the activities themselves and the team were great. We had a safety incident with a hairdryer without a proper guard catching and pulling out hair and overall their reaction/response to it was good. They comped us 2 passes to the hydrotherapy circuit at the spa. I would not recommend paying for this as the experience wouldn’t be worth the cost. There were also massive numbers of bees coming out of the drains at the spa pool and no one seemed to be dealing with them. The performers at the evening shows were very talented. Would recommend this resort for sure.

We stayed in the Family Selection with 2 other families. The staff was amazing, especially Moses who was very friendly and helped calm my son down when he tripped and fell on the morning we were leaving. We ended up upgrading to an ocean view suite as the first room we were assigned looked onto construction of a new building next door. The entertainment for the kids was great and the Family Selection pool and restaurant were perfect for families travelling with children.

When we arrived, we’re welcomed with drinks and an Expedia concierge (Eliutt) to guide us to the room, as well as telling us a little bit about the hotel. We got a room with the view of a construction site, which was not the greatest. The pools were not very clean; it might be due to spill of drinks. They have a beautiful beach and many activities such as surfing lessons. The only restaurant I would recommend is The Nest. The Nest has so much good food. We would like to thank Expedia concierge Eliutt for his excellent service during our stay. He kept in touch with us on the very first day and until the day we checked out.

Overall, our family, and group of 11 total had a good time. The food at all of the a la carte restaurants was fantastic. The Bamboo Japanese restaurant I could have eaten at every night. The pools were good, but the activities that were scheduled for kids were often late or didn’t happen at all. The rooms were okay, our A/C didn’t really work and was never fixed, our room was missed for cleaning once, and the toilet ran non stop which was loud. I attempted to order room service one night and it just never showed up which was disappointing. Obviously we didn’t spend a lot of time in the rooms but they definitely need some work. The bartending staff was great and made delicious drinks for both adults and kids. Beach access was easy and lots of activities there like body boarding and surfing. It was a good place but not one that I’m going to book repeatedly.
