„The room was available for an early check in as requested. We were here for a funeral and they were kind enough to leave us a sympathy card. Very nice room, comfortable bed, spacious, with a Jacuzzi and a fireplace available. A beautiful view of the river right outside our door. I highly recommend staying here. “

Wir haben uns hier viel wohler gefühlt, als in den vielen Hotels und Motels, die wir ansonsten gebucht hatten. Es gibt auch gute Restaurants in der Umgebung und viele Empfehlungen vom Hausherren. „Beautiful little inn in beautiful Newport, walking distance to the wharfs and loads of restaurants, stores, and more. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious and large- they're really accommodating of allergies and food preferences, too. Loved this place. My only feedback that isn't totally glowing is that the walls are very old and therefore thin, and that means at night you might hear your neighbor's TV or snoring or coughing if you're a light sleeper. We had the Lark room: next to the main house, quiet and private, charming, comfortable bed, gas fireplace, partial sea view, big bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub. Wine and snacks between 5 and 6 pm offered in the quaint lounge, small but great and delicious choice of self service buffet breakfast. The best place we stayed at in the US. “
