„We came here for stargazing because this area has a fairly dark sky on the dark sky maps, and it was cloudy and rainy the whole time — BUT!!! This home was wonderful, warm, cozy and comfortable. A terrific place to come back to after a rainy day hike. We watched movies, played games, completed jigsaw puzzles, all courtesy of the thoughtfulness of the home owner. A wonderful, charming home. „This home is in a quiet area. It is a little further away from some of the main touring areas. However, it is a wonderful, relaxing, peaceful place to spend time with family and not be among the crowds. The view is wonderful. There is a small table and chairs at the far end of the property, and if you sit there, you can see the lighthouse. We did not use the pool. The air temperature was a little too chilly for us. The pool is enclosed in a privacy fence. If you are in the pool, you cannot see ...

„It was uncomfortably hot, too hot to sleep at night and there was a damp feel throughout the entire house. We noticed a musty smell and several areas of mold on drywall. Drywall tape was hanging loose and doors not closing properly, just too much dampness to be comfortable.“

„This is a rustic place built in 1820 so not like a hotel but what a great time for families and kids. The beach is a minute away and a lovely little town is a short walk. If you are looking for a relaxing time far from the madding crowd this will fit the bill! “
