„We came here for stargazing because this area has a fairly dark sky on the dark sky maps, and it was cloudy and rainy the whole time — BUT!!! This home was wonderful, warm, cozy and comfortable. A terrific place to come back to after a rainy day hike. We watched movies, played games, completed jigsaw puzzles, all courtesy of the thoughtfulness of the home owner. A wonderful, charming home. Thank you for the many nice touches! “

„Great and very helpful host who knew the area well. The cabin was nice and clean, quiet, cozy and had all the amenities we needed. Definitely appreciated the free washer/dryer and had fun playing the old school games :) Looking forward to staying again the next time we visit Acadia. “

„Lone Pine was the perfect home base to relax and enjoy the scenery and quiet in between trips to the park and amazing dinners. The fall colors were beautiful!“

„This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. “

„Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that ...

„We only had 3 days to visit the area. Our stay was very comfortable and convenient to Bar Harbor. We could walk the mile to town. Which was easier than trying to park dow there! Close to the entry to Acadia. Also appreciated the breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Everyone we ran across was very friendly.“

„No contact from property manager or owner for requests , sheets had pubic hair from previous booking , I asked for new bedding and said I would change it myself, things happen I get it, dirt on the floor sticking to socks and feet, paper thin walls, unusable balcony, we left after only one night without communication from anyone to find a cheaper, bigger, much cleaner place, with much more privacy, “

„This cottage was a pleasant change from the bustle of Bar Harbor. Although its small and cozy, it had what we needed for a short term stay. Barring a few check-in inconveniences, it was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the firepit that we spent time at after a long Acadia Park hiking adventure.“

„The coffee pot was very old and could use an update. Dishwasher door would not close. Had to wash by hand. Generous supply of toilet paper, towels, hand towels. Plenty of hot water. Beautiful scenery “

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

"Die Zimmer sind veraltet und extrem ringhörig. Das Bett war extrem umbequem. Es gibt in der nähe kein Frühstücksangebot. Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."
