Princeville is Kauai's dramatic North Shore perch, high above Hanalei Bay with green ridgelines, ocean bluffs, and a slower pace than the resort towns down south. Spend a morning snorkeling the sheltered water at Anini Beach, then head into Hanalei for shave ice, galleries, and dinner. Princeville Center keeps groceries and casual meals close, while the nearby trails and lookouts make it easy to shape the day around the weather. It suits families and couples who want Kauai's lush, cinematic side without giving up everyday convenience.



Getting Around:

Lihue Airport is about 40 minutes away via a scenic drive along Kauai's coast. A rental car is highly recommended since the North Shore's beaches, restaurants, and Hanalei's shops are spread out. Princeville itself offers walkable access to some shops and dining, while beaches like Hanalei Bay are a short drive. Parking is typically available in lots or driveways at most properties.
