Great location, but poor service and hidden fees
Location & Parking:
Perfectly situated by the subway with instant city access. Parking is tight but free, which is a plus.
Hidden Fees:
Note for Expedia guests: Spa and pool cost an extra €20 per person for 2 hours. This is only included if you book directly through the hotel website—a very frustrating policy.
Dining (The Grill):
The food was good, but service was poor. We had to ask for bread, and one of our two identical rump steaks arrived thin and overcooked. By the time the replacement came, everyone else had already finished eating.
Ignored Complaints & Noise:
We sent an email on our second day reporting hair from the previous guest in the bathroom and the issues at "The Grill." There was absolutely no response from the hotel regarding this e-mail.
Our last night was ruined by a party in the Executive Lounge directly below our room with loud music until 1:15 AM. The hotel’s management showed no ambition to help; we were only offered a shallow apology and the "option" to move rooms at 10 PM or receive earplugs. For a hotel in this category, we expected professional complaint management rather than being ignored or offered inadequate solutions.
Verdict: Great location, but disappointing service and unfair pricing for third-party bookings.
